Bought the 86 its massive. Don't forget LG supplies the led displays to Sony and other brands and they rebrand it for 1000$ markup. Essentially a Sony tv for half the price.
@@igorkrol9858 yes it does but the 120 hz only kicks in if u play games that support 120 hz. For example when i play cold war , the menu shoes 120 hz but when I close the cold war app it goes back to 60hz.
FYI the 82" is the only one with a VA panel, all other sizes are an IPS panel.. I'm about to pull the trigger on the 82" VA one for 1400usd.. Thanks for showing off the UI and TV!!
@@allthingsnew1212 I would have to double check. But I've heard many say yes it does have hmdi 2.1 specifically on HDMI ports 3 and 4. Again I haven't looked because I don't use it so it's not something I'm looking for. But a lot of reviews and Q&As on the TV says yes it does.

@@jrhm6755 for me that would depend on cost difference. Ratings wise the nano has a better online score. But, I felt real world spec differences were minimal between the two for the cost difference. But, then again I'm thrifty... lol

It can't do 120hz at 4k. LG messaged me directly saying it's only 60hz at 4k. 120hz at 1080p. Uses artificial smoothing to push to 120hz at anything higher but native 60hz

No, I have not noticed any. Admittedly, I have not done any test patterns or anything of that nature. But, when my bluray boots up the screen is solid white for a second or so, and the white screen is uniform in color.

JUST to add to this, as of 11.20 LG said the CX oled display is unfixable for the gamma issues during VRR.. As of today, there is NO VRR actually working well on any TV's... I'm sticking to monitors for FPS gaming and TV's for casual gaming/movies.

This tv isn't even that good there's way better ones if your willing to spend the cash, fuckin cheap ass people nowadays I swear, and they always complain about why there tv doesn't look that great or run good for certain things. If you want the best you have to PAY for the the best.

Not exactly. They both use different AI processors and all other chips vary as well. It's not just about display panel.

It does Dolby Vision and hdr10. Alot of content on disney+ uses Dolby Vision

Yes make sure you plug it to the 1 and 2 hdmi ports as they are 2.1. The 3 and 4 ports are old 2.0 ports.

The NanoCell TV's have local dimming zones. The UN85 series of TV's does not have local dimming.
