Not sure if I've done this one before, but I really like it. One of the things that works for me is the slower movements. Some weight lifting videos, even for seniors, have a much faster pace. I lifting and lowering the weights with intentionality makes me less likely to let gravity help me. Thanks for your thoughtful design of these workouts.

Hi Cindy, This is my second day of the challenge. Love your no nonsense approach and the fact that the exercises are not too easy. I am using 1.59 quart bottles of water and have no pain or strain. Thanks for the info about continuing with this exercise after the 7 day challenge.
I've had nearly a week without being able to do much proper exercise although I have been walking a great deal while my son and his family were been here and of course line dancing so wasn't without exercise. Starting back properly though now and feel as though it's definitely needed. I do like this workout 🙂

These exercises also help with my walking outside and now the weather is getting better it's nice to be able to walk down to the sea not just look at it out of the window, much down to you Cindy spurring me on thank you 🙂
Now I know definitely I did this or the free weights workout the day before yesterday and must have forgotten to put it down as not on there either, I refuse to have flabby arms this year so I'm making sure I do one or the other but with a break in the middle for something else. I've never been much of an exercise person except for a little Yoga here & there, but I discovered your channel in May and enjoy working out to several of them. Thanks for doing these as I had no idea how to properly use weights.

Great exercise and I'm definitely getting better at it, especially the bending at the knees which I thought at first I'd never manage properly as I was always putting y heels down not any more Cindy 😂

I have balance issues because I have quite serious scoliosis and other spinal deformities. Any suggestions for improving my balance with my spine issues?
Hi Monica, try working on your balance a few times a week for a few minutes at a time, building on it each session. Our core videos and stability ball videos will help with this. Again, start small and do a little more each day. Always with your doctor's approval and guidance, of course.
This is a great exercise and I realised the other day it also helped with my walking stick with a seat. My stick weighs just a smidgeon under a kilo so I also get my weights exercise when I'm out walking, win, win. I do try not to sit, sometimes just knowing I can means I don't if that makes sense Cindy?😂 😂
Second day of the 7 day challenge and I am feeling the burn. I have a question. Should I do this every other day along with the daily challenge or instead of making the 7 day challenge last 14 days? Or just today and move on to day 3 tomorrow?
Good for you second day!!!! I would save this muscle workout for after the 7 day challenge as the challenge is designed to give the muscles the required rest to heal between workouts. If you add this in, you could border on overuse and experience an injury. Keep up your dedication to be healthy and strong!
