      Please turn to Jesus He loves you very much, i was ill for many years but the doctors couldn't really help me, i don't blame them, there was only so much that they could of done for me, Then Jesus gave me a miracle and healed me, He is the God of miracles, God has done amazing things in my life and in the life's of my family, He can do the same for you and yours, When you need Him call on Him, He is the God of comfort and will there for you when you call on Him, The bible tells us in Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, God saved someone i love from an illness leading to death, There is nothing impossible to God, It's as simple as asking Jesus into your heart and life to be your personal Lord and Saviour, confess your sins to Jesus, and Jesus will for give you, If you truly seek Him, Jesus will answer you, i know this because He answered me when i called out to Him

    RAI makes Thyroid eye disease so much that you are recommended never to do this Also the medication is not as dangerous as the RAI please be very careful and always do your research because doctors don’t always tell you this I found out on my own.

    Why can't we partially ablate the thyroid and leave some behind to produce t3-t4? Why do we have to ablete or remove all of it?

    • @Elsynce
      @Elsynce 3 года назад +2

      I asked the same question my doctor and he said when you have Graves even if 1 little piece of the thyroid is left your body is going to make antibodies so you're not going to be cured and he said it's super important all of it to be removed! That's why he said he prefer surgery because with this iodine there is a chance something to be left i think and then you will have to take another one... But in my case, surgery can't happen so now this is my only option and i'm super scared to do it :(

      I got extremely allergic to methimazole. I got hives, fever and mouth sores on and off for 2 weeks. My doctor told me the only option we have next is I131 (radioactive iodine). So I had it done last week. I'm still isolating from the kids. Other than a mild tenderness from the neck, I'm feeling ok. 😊

      I'm sorry to hear that. I've just been diagnosed with graves disease and have several other chronic health problems so I understand how you feel. Unfortunately we can't avoid our health problems, we have no choice but to live with them and do our best to treat them, and you should be proud of how well you've coped.

      Go to thyroid UK community at healthunlocked.com and get help. Graves' disease is an autoimmune disorder and thyroid is not at fault. Don't take RAI or agree for an operation unless there are tumors. You can live happily managing autoimmunity by altering diet, and blocking hormone production with Bugleweed and Motherwort tincture. If you can't afford it stick to Methimazole or Carbimazole.
      Don't agree blindly for destroying your thyroid, it's a gearbox of your body.

      If its approved by your doctor that is. I know some cant eat stuff like that so def run anything but your doctor first. In my opinion our diet is 75% of our health.

    This treatment totally failed for me, medication also was & has been never been able to get anywhere near normal. Graves keeps me running around like I'm on meth, but I am totally exhausted. Hopefully this next appointment they will decide to remove my thyroid. It's been a very tough 3 years dealing with the side effects of Graves. Everything is ON, but again, I am wiped out.

    • @spring7643
      @spring7643 5 лет назад +3

      Just cut 80% iodine out of your diet. No need to remove a perfectly functioning thyroid. It's just being stimulated too much by diet.

    • @spring7643
      @spring7643 5 лет назад +3

      Some people require way less dietary iodine than others. Iodine is in potatoes, eggs, idoized salt, even non-iodized salt (eating a tiny amount is ok), and the list goes on, but there are still a ton of healthy food options that are very low in iodine.

      @@spring7643 graves is the immune system attacking it not the thyroid acting up randomly, I reckon its to do with gut nacteria imabalnce and selenium deficiencies so imma try eating some Brazil nuts and drinking kombucha and taking a multivitamin bmtt

      I understand how you feel, when I tell people I have an overactive thyroid they think I must be full of energy all the time, yet I'm always exhausted. Sure, I fidget a lot, and my heart is certainly full of energy as I often have palpitations, but no I'm certainly not feeling up to anything too physical.
      I was told by my doctor I don't need to avoid iodine in my diet as in graves disease it's not caused by excessive iodine, it's caused by the immune system attacking itself. Of course follow your own doctor's advice.

    I have graves disease in my eyes as long as I'm not straining then this shouldn't be a problem but if I strain or focus in on an object too hard or if I've got my eyes tilted up looking at my forehead or in between my eyebrows for a long period of time longer than say 3 seconds that's why my eyes are doing this and that's also why my eyes are hurting because I'm constantly sitting with my eyes in the uptrend position and straining them focusing in trying to meditate with my eyes open.

    I don't take medication for it at all I don't understand all this unnecessary radiation exposure is not necessary and I've had Graves disease my entire life I'm honestly wondering if it's not me straining trying to see through the dark me straining trying to see without my glasses me squinting at the screen when I see all these people making all these fliminals with pictures of my eyes and then wondering why they're using my eyes for subliminals when I have gross disease in my eyes that doesn't make any sense and it's very unhealthy but I guess that's our culture for you today they do things without asking questions and then wonder why I made them sick I mean obviously because situation could have been avoided and needed to be avoided so to the doctor we go and hopefully we left with a better attitude and a better problem solution this time
