@@RoughWalkers In the best league in the world, where some clubs have so much more money than Liverpool have. And even if Liverpool only won one trophy, it is their first in 30 years. And Liverpool should have won more than one League title, one time they lost the league with 97 or 98 points. They would have been better than every other team in any other season, except City in that 2019 season.
One of the best managers I've seen in the Premier league, will be a huge loss to Liverpool, EPL and to football ! Thank you Klopp, wish you all the best.
won the prem once in a covid year, disrespectful to the prem to call him one of the greatest with that record. He stayed in his job longer than most, that's all.
"I still am a normal guy but I dont live a normal life for too long now" this gave me goosebumps. He never wanted to be Rich or famous, he did all this just for the Love and Passion of this Sport and the few Clubs he trained. A true competitor. Nothing but respect for this man
Because Liverpool didn't offer him a new contract. Klopp smokes cigarettes and when you smoke cigarettes you want to win random fights. So he then blabbered that he had no strength left and was leaving. In fact, his contract simply wasn't extended and Klopp wanted to make it seem like it was his decision to leave. I’m 47 yrs old, lifelong Liverpool supporter and you’re the greatest Liverpool manager ive ever seen! Thank you for all your, love, passion, guidance and most of all thank you for making Liverpool great again! Saying goodbye to you seems so unreal, I wish you could stay forever but we all know nothing is forever. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I wish you and your family the very best of health and luck in whatever you guys have planned out for the future. WE WILL ALL MISS YOU, LIVERPOOL IS NOW AND FOREVER A PART OF YOU.
@independentSEO Benitez and klopp couldn't have been more different in terms of tactics and also personality. I am grateful to Benitez for the unforgettable Champions league final but for me, Klopp has brought us much more than trophies. What klopp has given/brought to Liverpool fc is smtg like a once in an era kinda thing. The best comparison I can think of for klopp is none other than the great Scott Sir Alex, this is how highly I rate klopp and the culture, mentality and passion he's coached us with.
Regardless to whether we win 4 trophies this year or zero, at the end of the season this man alone deserves a parade, for the whole fanbase to give him the best send off ever. Just like we did with the ucl, this man deserves a parade.
It's so cool to get an inside interview like this available on RUclips. As a kid, I would watch managers come and leave clubs, but never got insider information because it was on TV. There wasn't access like this. For as long as I've been a fan of Liverpool, Klopp is probably the best manager we've had. We finally got a PL trophy and have mad many other great successes. He brought an intensity and will to win that made the games electrifying to watch. I can only imagine what it would have felt like being at Anfield on some of those night. We appreciate everything you have done Klopp! Blessings on your future.
@@alharith9060 Next World cup is nagelsmanns job. Nagelsmann was staying in germany and was asked to become national trainer and did accept it with a lot of motivation and you can already see that he is the right one for this task and has much energy. As much as i also as a bvb fan like what klopp did in dortmund, we also saw that he didnt care about the performance of the national team that much. He left germany and german football for many years and as far as i see didnt show signs of interest to help out (to replace flick). But nagelsmann was directly there and then directly (i watch all the games of our national team) you were able to see that the team after flick left in the first game against france witu Völler how they directly played extremly well and also in a very fast and agressive style. Then in the games with nagelsmann even more. They are playing even better than in the 2014 woldcup and i can judge that because i watch all the games in detail, not just read some negetive pessimist headlines as many people prefere nowadays because they dont even watch games anymore. Nagelsmann made them play even much better than in 2014 (also because of the talent of the players themselves of course) , the only real problem in the moment is the fucking hatred in our media that keeps insulting the players and coach and telling the people lies about them and then the players mood gets destroyed which affects how they play and for that circumstances of beeing insulted and yelled at all the time they do extremely well and also just in general they play much better than im 2014, they just need more support from the german fans and media instead of insulting and distracting them all the time and then they can also do better in games like against austria and turkey where they get false penalties or red cards and playing against other bundesliga players, then you also need the support from your fans, the trainer cant do everything alone, no matter if its nagelsmann or klopp or whatever. But Nagelsmann now did confidently accept this task and wants to put all his efforts to the national team and you can see how he is doing great and they play extremly well not like with flick that left best players at home and alll that stuff but Klopp was in england now for 9 years and didnt really seem to care about german football, so its fair that nagelsmann does it and hes doing really good so far and he also is full of energy, if you look at how exhausted klopp is, he first needs some long vacation lol and because he missed the opportunity nagelsnmann will be in charge of it ne next years and i dont think that klopp would accept beeing co trainer. Klopp would have been very good too of course i dont have anything against him but now we have nagelsmann first and im very optimistic with him for the next euros and world cup.
@@blibla181Firstöy I'd like to recommend reading through what you type before sending, since it's really really hard to read (long sentences, lots of "and" etc). And if nobody can understand it, why even write it? Regarding the comparison to 2014: I think one of the things that made that team great was the dedication, Teamplay and understanding between the players. And that seems to still be a big issue. We have great players like Wirtz, Sane or Musiala, but they seem disconnected. Plus we don't have the world class defence of Lahm, prime Hummels, Mertesacker and Boateng anymore and are lacking some defensive midfield players like Khedira and maybe even Schweinsteiger. The offense is great but the defensive parts are overwhelmed too easily.
The greatest achievement that Jürgen has achieved is not the trophy and all the wins, but he conquered the heart of fans and even his rival with respect. What a man..
Ok wait, hear me out. When Klopp leaves it could mean that mourinho could take his place. Ofcourse he won’t be as good as Klopp but I can see this happening
I know that the season is not over yet and there are still many games with you, and no matter how it ends if we lose or if we win, I just want to tell you that thank you for everything Jürgen, thank you for making me love this this club, Thank you for all these years that perhaps were not always the best or the most successful, I will always have good memories of them, Jürgen at the end of the season may be the last time we see you in Anfield but even if so I hope you always remember that you will never walk alone
Dear Jurgen, I remember how tough for me was when Torres left. I remember how hard was to see Suarez go. It was heartbreaking when Gerrard left. Nothing less was when Mane, Hendo and Firmino left. But it's nothing compared with this sad news, this one will be hard to swallow. I have always been behind you, trusted you on every step of the road, never questioned your decisions, listened to many press conferences where I learned some great lessons for which I am very grateful. You and the group rewarded us, fans, with memorable time, matches and trophies. Had some rough times in the past, I was really struggling to get a grip and when almost everything around me was dark and bad, you and boys created for me (every sunday) a small space where everything was great and sunny,. This space was one of few reasons or my fuel to keep going forward. I just wanted you to know how much you mean to me, and every other Liverpool fan. While you were doing your job the way you did, you made some "invisible" ripples which touched and inspired people all around globe, including myself, to start doing and live with the same attitude, mentality and values. I don't know is there anything more important than that. I would say that neither trophy can match to that. It is really hard to resist temptations of praying you to stay, and I will try not to do that. I will, as always, stand behind you, trust you with all my heart and try to enjoy and absorb as much as I can while it still lasts. And of course, cheer harder then ever! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Sincerely, Alex. ❤
Klopp eluded to the reason he decided to go...to have time to reflect and think about life...to have meaning in life and purpose is more important than anything else...I respect his decision and as he always will remain a trailblazer his decision to leave will also set an example for us...
From the United States: I started watching watching football because of Klopp's Liverpool. It was exciting and I was instantly caught up in it. It made me feel like I did when I was a young American baseball fan watching Ken Griffey Jr in Seattle. Thanks to the City of Liverpool for being such passionate fans and creating this environment for sport. Good Luck finding another one like this guy. He's one in a million.
Impossible to find another boss and he's the boss, every single liverpool supporter is broken today but god I would luv us to win the prem in font of our fans this time for the boss, we need this to happen
From a Gooner, massive respect to Klopp. He's been such a fantastic manager that everyone should look up to. He's really built your club up back to the level of it's past glories. Genuine fear every time we play you guys. Massive respect and all the best for his future. 🙏
No man. This hurts more than any player leaving. I will be a Liverpool fan forever but LFC will never feel the same without him. The post match celebration with the fans, the press conference moments, the parade celebration. I really wished he never left but all the best. YNWA
Yes but we've been here before, Shanks left in a similar vein but the club went onto arguably greater success with Bob Paisley. It's sad news for sure but Jürgen will say that no man is bigger than the club
Jürgen is a huge asset to the PL, not just Liverpool. As a United fan I can only offer my sympathy to the Liverpool fans. Kudos to the man for his class.
@@tatsu2137 Genuinely not. It's a loss to English football on the whole. The better you are, the better we have to be to compete and so forth for everyone else in the league. It's like Fergie and Wenger - the [friendly] rivalries aren't simply between the fans but between the minds and styles of the managers. Cruyff at Barca, Fergie, Wenger, Klopp - however brief, they were eras for their club and their respective leagues.
As a Dortmund fan, losing him felt like the biggest gut punch imaginable, but from then on I have been following his results over at Liverpool closely. Watching him transform the club, win those rightful EPL and UCL titles and rise as a core member of the red family made me so proud of the man who did wonders for my club as well. Whatever you end up doing next, I’m wishing you only the absolute best, Jürgen. You’ll always have a home both at Dortmund and Liverpool, you’ve made millions of football fans all around the world happy. Thank you 💛
Herr Klopp, I have been a Liverpool supporter for almost 65 years, since I was the age of 5. I visited Anfield with my Dad who was in turn a massive supporter and although we lived in Dublin (Liverpool is a Parish) we went to many dozens of home games after travelling on the ferry from Dublin. When you arrived almost 9 years ago you said you wanted to make doubters into believers and that you would win a major trophy in 4 years! Well that 4 years turned into 5 minutes as the style and playing skills of the team blossomed under your coaching and I remember well how you turned despair into pride for me at least. I now live in Nelson, New Zealand and usually have to either get up at ungodly hours or stay awake to to support my team as best I can from here! It is no longer a chore but a joy to see how you have again revitalised the team since last year. You know, I cannot thank you enough for all the joy that you bring me! I am so very proud of what you have achieved on my behalf! If you are ever down this way you are welcome to share my home! YNWA Danke lieber Freund

I am a Dortmund-Fan and I can image how Liverpool-Fans are feeling right now. I will never forget the moment he told us that he would leave Dortmund. From expierence I can only tell every Liverpool-Fan: Cherish this moment and and the time you still have with Jürgen on the sideline. Most importantly: cherish every memory Jürgen helped to create at Liverpool FC. They will stay with you forever. The hardest part will be having a new manager at the sideline next season because it does not matter who it will be, he will never be like Jürgen. It will get easier with time but you will always compare everyone with Jürgen for a very long time. YNWA
Listening to Klopp always gives me a bit of hope in humanity. One of the most successful people in recent football history and yet so humble, so smart, so down to earth, emotional and empathic, while still being very rational and reasonable. He is just a person you listen to and know you would trust. He is not sugarcoating things nor dramatizing, he is not pretending to be someone he is not, he just feels so real even in his position of power. He knows when to stand his ground and when to say sorry and explains things to the fans like he is talking to equals, to decent, intelligent human beings, instead of the typical "official talk" targeted at the "stupid masses".
I am a grown up man and I am very close to break into tears myself... I knew this decision would come inevitably some day, but even with this, it's very hard to accept it and believe it...
I can’t think of a manager that matched the culture and energy of a club, like Klopp has with Liverpool. The way he turned around Liverpool FC and made all the doubters, believers. Brought so many incredible moments for us along the journey. Thank you Klopp, for bringing upon us the greatest era of Liverpool in recent memory..
This came out of no where!! An extremely sad day for Liverpool fans, we will all miss you Jurgen you have taken our club from an average team struggling to make top 4 to one of the best if not the best team in the world... thank you for everything Jurgen Klopp we will always love you ❤ 😢

As an Arsenal fan, I can't express how much respect I have for Klopp. He seems like an honest, thoughtful and genuinely good man. I almost want Liverpool to win a major trophy this season just to truly have him finish on the high he so clearly deserves.
Im a fellow gooner that is actually with you on this , more so bcos last time it was an empty stadium for them. Itd be the perfect send off. That hes earned.
Agreed. Also an Arsenal fan, but huge respect. He's a class manager, and he's a genuine and funny person who has brought a ton to the team, the club, the league as a whole. If we can't win, I'm okay with the W going to Anfield.
Klop and Pep is like wenger and Sir alex.. Imagine if Klop have oil money.. massive respect to Jurgen 🎉.. deserves a Premier league hall of fame manager statues..
Liverpool without Klopp, wow, what a thought. A man larger than life who has given us 8 of the best years in football a fan could ask for. Watching this, with tears in my eyes, im not sad or bitter that he has decided to part ways with Liverpool as a manager, im rejoicing in the fact he created the memories and team that will be looked upon as the standard. He was the standard. He is the standard for a manager at any club. Klopp is imitated but never duplicated. You are all overreacting a bit. He's a decent manager but a little overrated to be honest. He had one good season, but the rest have been very average considering the talent avaliable. I'd probably get rid of him now and not let him finish the season so you can get Di Zerbi or Xabi in quicker.

From a Bolton fan I can honestly say this man will be sorely missed, not just at Liverpool but all English football... I was worried Liverpool were in trouble until he arrived. They've always had the talent they just lost consistent leadership, especially after Gerrard hung his boots up, too. It seemed like there were too many holes to fill to rebuild on, but what he's done has been both entertaining and phenomenal. Something about the guy just makes everything seem fun again, like every decision could lead to an education or entertainment. He never made the fans carry the weight of his mood like many other prem managers do. Also the dedication and trust he inspires from him players is rare in the mainstay prem teams today. Yet he's built an inspirational team of not just the men on the pitch but also fans they can be proud to represent. As both always show inclusion and good sportsmanship, worthy of the team that's back to being the pinnacle of British football. I genuinely hope Liverpool continue to build on and honour the legacy he's built and whoever you find to take over is up to the job. 👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾 YNWA 👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾

But then again I was so thankful for having been a part of this crazy ride this guy took us on for seven years. Jürgen Klopp ist ein absoluter Ehrenmann. What a legend! Liverpool is such a great club. My heart goes out to all the supporters who feel a bit heartbroken today.

He has done a lot of advertising on the telly here in Germany in the past, especially after winning his Bundesliga titles with Borussia Dortmund, so from time to time, I was a bit sceptical about him in the past decade. Advertising and marketing is actually never honest and authentic as it's mostly just about money. But there's something special about Jürgen Klopp that makes me feel he is still human and he seems MUCH more authentic than other celebrities in today's so-called modern football. It's a lovely confession that he would NEVER manage another club in England. Nine years are a real long time in today's football and he has done a fantastic job for LFC within all these years without any doubt. Thank you Jürgen for being some kind of a German ambassador in the UK, showing the Brits that not all Germans have a stick up their a**, that German people can be authentic and even humorous. I hope he will leave Liverpool with winning the Premier League once again, this would be a perfect farewell for the club and himself, even if I'm not very keen on Liverpool as I have a soft spot for Leeds Utd. :)
The team we created. The family we created. The community we built. The trophies we gathered. Klopp isn't just a Liverpool manager, he IS Liverpool. Whatever decision he makes, I'll support, but he'll be missed

Forssure 💯 speaking from a Chelsea Fan Perspective Jürgen Klopp is not one of the Best in England but in the World He rejuvenated the Liverpool Squad ever since he Joined 2015-16 He is a Special Legend too 💯😃
Man United fan since 2001, but Klopp will forever be a legend of the game. He came in when Liverpool truly needed a new leader after years of stagnation and win everything he could with nowhere near the money of other clubs at his disposal. He's a great manager who changed the game with his style, and an even better man that highlights the true humanity the sport can bring out of others. He has my utmost respect, without a doubt. 🤝🏾
As a United fan, I just have to pay my respects to Klopp. He's come into a club that were very up and down, constantly, for 20+ years, and he's re-established the club as one of the best in the world, for the better part of a decade. Not only that, but he's done it with some fantastic football, whilst always being a genuine, decent, fair human being on a personal level. The rivalry remains, but I'm sure the whole of the North West can agree, that we'll miss one of footballs best, when he leaves. Fair well, Jürgen, have a good rest, you deserve it for what you've brought to the game.

Heartbreaking news 😢. He looks tired and because of the passion he has for the game,it takes more out of him than most. Because Liverpool didn't offer him a new contract. Klopp smokes cigarettes and when you smoke cigarettes you want to win random fights.

@@alharith9060 why yous all love klopp yous don't like Germans
@@alharith9060 I hope he has at least 12 months out of the game as he needs a rest and international football is probably best option for him next.

Dear Jurgen,
I remember how tough for me was when Torres left.

Listening to Klopp always gives me a bit of hope in humanity. One of the most successful people in recent football history and yet so humble, so smart, so down to earth, emotional and empathic, while still being very rational and reasonable.

Damn, that was a really good speach. So honest and direct. You are a special man Jürgen and a brave one too. I hope you find your other purpose and enjoy your time. It's been well earned.
From an Everton supporter I believe Klopp has definitely enhanced the level of the EPL. You will be missed. Thanks for the memories and I wish only the best for you and yours. Legend
This is my favorite Football Manager - and I am not a Liverpool supporter either, but He is one of my most favorite human beings. This is what Diamonds are made of.
A true loyal red forever in our hears ❤ xx
He truly is a diamond! 🙂
Actually, he just wanted to look cool.
Become a Liverpool supporter. It will bring you happiness, fortunes and a bigger willy

Chelsea fan, but I've got nothing but respect for this man. The league will be worse off without him.
I was just going to say the same thing , I love Chelsea and have supported them since the mid 60s , Klopp is a great manager and one of the most likeable Managers i have ever seen , if i was a Liverpool fan i would be devastated by this news .
He looks tired and deserves some family time. His legend will last forever, he rebuilt the club and gave us fans immense pride. Almost irreplaceable 💔💔
He looked tired last year. This year he's looked completely invigorated. That's why this is such a surprise. It looked to long time LIV fans like he'd managed to refuel that tank. But apparently not. So he parts with much love and best wishes from everyone.

Forssure 💯 speaking from a Chelsea Fan Perspective Jürgen Klopp is not one of the Best in England but in the World He rejuvenated the Liverpool Squad ever since he Joined 2015-16 He is a Special Legend too 💯😃
@@richardlefaive1944my guess is he wanted to do it differently this time. Which is - leave the club in a good place, unlike Mainz and Dortmund
@@AbIK-xu3yoI think he’s truthful about him not having the energy long term.
Thank you . Amazing Person .🎉
Also a United fan, totally agree with your statement. It’s been a tormenting joy and roller-coaster of emotions seeing this great man manage our bitter rivals with such passion. I agree. West Ham fan here but I have nothing but respect for what Klopp has achieved. And by leaving now his status is secured. No awkward hanging on when he isn't able to perform at the highest level. He's gone out at the top.
He gives 100% every single day, devoted 8 years of his life to Liverpool and now he wants to enjoy life outside of football, it’s sad to watch him go but he will always be remembered as a Liverpool legend
He deserves to spend time with his kids and grandkids, see his family and clear his mind. He has mentioned in the past not being able to go home as much because of how demanding the Prem is. Im sure he wants to spend time with family
