Wow - this brings back memories....I was the Senior Master Control Operator for WJTM/WNRW/WXLV from November 1984 to September 2003....I had forgotten about this clip until now. Thanks for uploading this!

I love these old recordings they used for signoffs. This is great one, because you don't hear music like this anymore, but my favorite is the WLVI channel 56 out of Boston from 1987.

Our Studios are located at 3500 Myer Lee Drive in Winston-Salem and our Transmitting facilities are located on top of Sauratown Mountain. WRNW operates on a assigned frequency of 657.25 MHz visual and 661.75 MHz aural. With an effective radiating power of 500,000 watts aural and 5,000,000 visual.

I used to watch both WNRW TV channel 45 and WGGT TV channel 48 a lot when I was living in Danville, VA before WXLV/WUPN/WMYV. When they were Independent turned FOX Affiliated stations. Somehow ABC don't fit well on a UHF Frequency, Neither does CBS, NBC, or PBS. ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS fits well on VHF. But as far as UHF is concerned, FOX, The WB, UPN, The CW, My Network TV, and Independently owned stations fit well on that frequency

45's logo was cool then.Now it looks like something from 2077! lol
