They're an amazing band to see live. I saw them once last year and once this year. Sam has amazing energy and his voice is just as incredible in person
I was privileged to see them with ZZ Top just over a year ago. They owned the show. As good live as studio.

@Jay Bayer If you go to 3:17-3:22 he's out of breath and huffs three times. If it was recorded beforehand and he was just lip-syncing, there's no way he'd know exactly how and when to move his body along with the recorded huffs. That's how I figured it out.

This is one of the few songs concerning romance that doesn't seem like a toxic breakup song. The man knows he's not doing well and he genuinely thinks that his partner needs to do what's best for themself, even if that's leaving.

the way he can go on with his raw voice is nothing less than amazing and screams confidence
You can really see his true emotion singing this song. You can tell he is trying to get a message somewhere to someone he loves. And, compared to the original soundtrack, he really is about to crack when he sings the last "don't stay for me"...This song is always compelling me.
At around 1:36 his voice shakes and kinda cracks.
This guy's voice gave me goosebumps. Stunning.
His emotions just make this song all the more amazing. He is a true artist and has such a pure voice.
