Times Of Refreshing is written and recorded by Marty Nystrom.
I was thinking about this song when a friend told me about a book titled The Sacred Slow. Basically it has to do with slowing down to spend time hearing from and listening to the "Faithful and True" voice of the Lord.
As I was singing the song this morning I heard "Faithful and True" which is a ministry in Minnesota that I benefited greatly from about twelve years ago. That's the character of our God. He is faithful and true.
My wife wrote the second verse as we were driving in the car the other day and talking about Marty's song.
