I will never understand these types of people. I’ve helped people in wheelchairs lots, but I always ask if they want any help, then follow up with how can I help. I’m never going to assume they want my help, or even assume what help they need. They may just want me to hold a door open for them, rather than just push them threw the door myself. I personally see the wheel chair as an extension of the persons body when they are in it. And I don’t go around touching people so I’m not about to start grabbing peoples wheelchairs and pushing them about. Can’t even imagine how frustrating, scary and aggravating this is! ❤❤

It's because consent is a thing and people forget that when they think they are doing the right thing but this is something people should know
