I don’t think so…..they’d be huge on a 1/16 scale….you’d have to change the gearing for sure

Im not at home, but i want to order a new, lower kv motor than i have now. I want to try to squeeze in as big motor as i can, just for fun. Will a 40mm diameter motor fit in? Now i have a 3650, looking at a 3665 now, but i want to try 40mm. Will it fit or no?
I’m not the right person to ask….I’m not sure how big of a motor will fit in a 2wd slash….I’m just running the stock velineon 3500kv on my slash

A little late to this one but with the HR aluminum tranny I fit a castle 2200kv 1515 with the mamba x in my 2wd. It's absolutely nuts. 18/56 gearing. 64mph was my top speed at half throttle anything past that it either lifts and flips or spins the tires.
You need a 1/8 scale or 1/5 scale too many divots in that sand!
I don’t think it performed too bad considering it’s size

@@braxtonoverlander4930 I have a proline transmission so the gearing is completely different….I believe it’s 19t pinion and 56t spur gear
