I like the Mets but the Mariners are a team I want to see make the playoffs and have success in the playoffs

@@cachito4092 no if both Boston and yankees win the blue jays and Mariners are eliminated if Boston wins and Yankees lose and Mariners and jays win then 3 way tie breaker and same with Boston so either Boston or Yankees have to lose and either jays and Mariners have to win
While they might still lose in typical fashion tomorrow, this game was crazy to experience in person, by far my favorite of all time as a life long fan. I can't imagine what a playoff series in Seattle would look like with the amount of celebration going on after tonights W.

Lifelong A's fan and even though I'm disappointed we didn't make it this year, how could you not be excited for what the Mariners are doing. I hope they make it, and possibly face the Yankees. 1995 all over again!!

I attended this game. All-around great defensive game. Kyle Seager, that defensive play at third base in the sixth inning. Got you a standing ovation from the crowd. In fact, I was stunned how great that play was.
Offensively, great team effort as far as pushing that pitch count up for the opposing starting pitcher. I saw a lot of 4- plus pitch counts per at bat. Again, outstanding offensive team effort.

As an east coast Mets fan, I have never once thought about the Mariners, but I'm sure routing for them now.
One might argue that the Kelenic-Cano/Diaz trade set this series of events in motion. I appreciate you not being bitter, and taking it a step forward and being a fan of this team! Go M's!

Think about it: The postseason is your money maker. Which is more likely to get a lot of viewings: The Yankees/Red Sox vs. The Mariners(A small market team) or A game between the the biggest rivals in all of sports? I really want Seattle and Toronto to make the postseason rather than Boston and New York, but I just have this feeling baseball won’t let that happen. If I’m wrong, then I’ll take back what i said
