Come back in summer and you will not want to leave!! I mean talk about a chill vibe---the whole city is a party in summer. Everyone chills and swims in the harbor, hangs out wherever, and yes--we drink a lot of alcohol (and coffee)! Loved your video! ❤

Nice video. Good that you liked it here. It seems the weather was not so good, so come back in the summer msybe, or around christmas. And if you can, then spend some time in the neighbourhoods of Nørrebro and Vesterbro.
I have been following you for some time. It is anazing how you settled in to Finland👍. We are all Nordic people, so we are kind of interconnected. There are a lot of finns in Cph.

Cool video brotha. And thank you for liking and visiting our country. You should come back in the summer. A whole other vibe then when it is cold. Us danes really come to life when the sun is shinning.

I genuinely appreciate your content. As we navigate life, our perceptions of what’s pleasant or unpleasant are deeply influenced by our personal experiences. My (young) Nepali friend laments the scarcity of organized adventures here: river rafting, mountain climbing. Meanwhile, my Iranian friend yearns for the bustling marketplaces of Tehran.
And Finland, to me, is a sanctuary. Having spent over three decades in a Mediterranean country, I often felt out of place. But back in Finland, I’ve discovered that I can fully embrace my introversion. The Finns, it seems, prefer soft-spoken observations over formal greetings. Share a humble comment about your surroundings, and they’ll respond in kind. Did you know that Finland stands as one of the friendliest havens for introverts?

No legal age for consuming alcohol in Denmark, but you have to be 16 to buy alcohol from 0 to 16.5 % and 18 to buy alcohol above 16.5 % in stores and supermarkets. For restaurants and bar you have to be 18. Some places voluntarily sets the age even higher.

Here in Finland 16 or even younger starts to experiment with alcohol, but you have to be 18 to buy any. When i has young i could buy smokes when i were 16, but then they changed the law and i couldn´t nuy cigarettes anymore until i turned 18. Also 18 years old could buy alcohol but not stronger than 21%. After turning 21 you could buy stronger stuff.
I don´t actually know how this goes these days becouse they have changed the alcohol laws many times. Also some of the bars and night clubs were allowed only over 21 year old. These days there is not discrimination by the age for young adults. You can go where ever you please. But back in the days some places didn´t want the reputation that there would be youngsters/teens that couldn´t behave like adults.

You should try CPH in the summer. That's on another level.
When 16, you can buy wine and beer, no hard booze, it is 18 years.
Oslo? A lot of Norwegians, I guess. Ask a Swede about the Norwegians, and you will have stories for a couple of hours.

Highly recommend a little working holiday - working a few days over the course of a couple of weeks can seriously lessen the blow of the 'Nordic expenses'. GGs sir, kind words.

coffee is exphensive in danish cafés because a lot of people hang over their one cup of coffee for a long time, giving the cafés a low turn-over....

danes make friends for life in elementary school.. and more or less stick with them.. so making friends with the danes is super hard.

You said that you are planning to visit Oslo. I have a suggestion for you. You could take a look at some meetup groups in Oslo, join one of them and then plan your visit so that you can attend one of the meetups. You do not have to be a resident of Oslo to be able to attend. I would suggest Oslo Bla Bla Language Exchange. They have a meetup every Thursday from 8.00 PM to 11.00 PM. On their page it says that English is always an available language option at their meetups. It would be interesting to read about your experience of the meetup.

Well i have noticed as i have traveled that you just have different perspective as you look around some new places. The wibe seems very different you pay attention things differently than where you live. I remember as i were young and i traveled alot in Stockholm how different evrything feeled like. All the woman seemed to by much more beautifull and all the buildings looked so nice everywhere. But later i realized that those were the things what i was paying attention and all other things just passed by. When the excitement is gone and you get used to the surrondings, you´ll start to notice different things and your perspective changes again.
Just the same thing if some kid gets new toy. First it is interesting and coolest thing ever and later the kid doesn´t give a damn about it.
I did run for the same problem when i was young and dating much. All coffee places closes so early that if you want to go for coffee then you have to go some bar, fancy ass restaurant or gas station... Normal coffee shops are closed usually. Perhaps in summertime you can find some nice places to have coffee when it is hollyday season.
That´s why some people hangs out alot in the gas stations and goes there for coffee with them friends. I do that too. I basicly know all the faces in my regular place and if someone doesn´t visit there often or just drops by, i know he/she isn´t regular customer over there.

You have to be 16 to buy alcohol. There is no limit on when you can drink, though you will need an adult to give you the beer or whatever.

    Denmark here .. Expensive
I earn around $255 to $360 a day, depending on the hours and day of the week, and my present part-time job as a night watch with no degree required (though I do have one) is nothing fancy.

As my parents said and my sister having teenagers... it just makes sense to be able to guide your kids when it comes to alcohol consumption...
If you wait until they have the right to reject your advice... there's a great risk that they'll just ignore you. Or keep it secret until it's legal.
In that perspective I'll prefer my kids to try it first in a safe environment where they can trust everyone.
