I have the StarDragons and adore that deck to pieces! This deck looks gorgeous and enchanting; thanks for sharing ❤ My copy of the StarDragons also has a really strange bow to it, but I've noticed when I carefully riffle and bridge shuffle the deck it starts to reverse the bowing.
I might get this deck. It's so hard for me to connect with Brian Froud and Lucy Cavendish's fae decks despite feeling guided to work with fae energy. Blessings ^^.
The only thing that surprises me about this deck is that all the fae appear to be female, at least the nude ones, especially since the guidebook makes no mention of that being purposeful. That puts this deck in the category of working with the wounded and sacred feminine for me, which is still good, just not what I was expecting. Out of curiosity, I pulled out his Unicorn and Stardragon decks. The Unicorn deck had a lot of cards where the fae were of no discernible sex, and the rest of the deck leaned female, with about six cards that included male fae. The Stardragon deck was more balanced, but it leaned male. I'll go look to see if you've posted a review on this deck yet. Thank you! ✨🙏✨
It's beautiful. I have his Stardragons one and Chinese Astrology deck & really like the artwork. I find the decks tend to have less cards. It snowed here too! Since you mentioned there are so many ways to use it, maybe you can do a video to expand on that?

I love all of Paolo Barbieri decks!! I am definitely going to have to add this one to my collection!! I am a huge Brian Froud fan and this deck gives some good vibes off of it!!
I love the art by this artist. However, the amount of cards in each deck is sparse compared to the majority of oracle card decks. I was gifted the Fantasy Cats oracle which only had 23 cards in it. While lovely, I was disappointed by the number of cards. I mainly use it as altar cards. However, I have considered buying the other decks and combining them into one larger oracle. This would probably encourage me to use them more for divination.

if you love brian frouds decks I would strongly recommend John Bauer tarot and Arthur Rackmans tarot and oracle decks. I Love all of them.
