Being able to authentically freestyle off the top of the brain and be able to make sentences fit, flow and make sense with metaphors and similies without messing up, takes years and years and years of skill. Plus, the subjects are usually more sparatic to be able to intertwine thoughts at the blink of an eye. When someone writes there stuff, it takes practice, time, dedication and the cadence is much more mathematical. It's very obvious. Not to say he's not a skilled writer and emcee. But, this is not off the top.
