I can connect it to our history and overall tiredness from events that are happening right now. We are stopped being naive that much and had to grow this thick skin. In our mentality of last years, it is now something like that - it is better to expect something bad or nothing at all rather than be disappointed. So the first reaction might be even a bit aggressive, but our people act really mirror in most cases. :) I'm really glad that you had a positive experience meeting people from Ukraine. ♥

I live in Canada. My uncle, who served in the Canadian military for 20 years and retired, left last week to fight on the side of Ukraine. He’s currently in Poland awaiting deployment. I don’t know if this brings any comfort whatsoever, but I’m telling you this Pixie to let you know that people in the world see what’s happening and are doing whatever they can to help. Some people are taking direct action, like my uncle, and others are doing their best via support of Ukrainian citizens with money or spreading awareness. We stand with you. Ukraine isn’t being forgotten and, while we can’t possibly understand how it feels to be in your situation, I hope that at the very least you know that people in the world care about you.

fun fact about jinx's tattoos, SPOIL ALERT: the blue clouds actually are designed to simulate the blue smoke from the canister vi gave her in episode 3. its to symbolize the reunion that jinx so desperately wants and craves. Funny enough if you take a closer look at vi's tattoos they also have have blue clouds connecting the joints. the two sister both imagine these clouds as being their savior in a way. so they aren't gun smoke. Something i love about arcane is how much thought and detail they put into everything!!!!!! no matter how many times you watch it there is something new to notice and love and appreciate. Its truly a masterpiece!!!

Very cool doll and glad to hear you are safe. The foot thing is genius, now I can create some Monster High customs that can wear flat or low heel shoes, or look normal barefoot which is great for making fairy characters. I've seen doll feet flattened with heat but that doesn't work for the big Monster High dolls which have hard plastic feet.

Ahah yeah, I guess it is a common thing among our people to be slightly rough, I'd say maybe it is more about straightforwardness or a defensive side if I got you right. I can connect it to our history and overall tiredness from events that are happening right now. We are stopped being naive that much and had to grow this thick skin. In our mentality of last years, it is now something like that - it is better to expect something bad or nothing at all rather than be disappointed. So the first reaction might be even a bit aggressive, but our people act really mirror in most cases. :) I'm really glad that you had a positive experience meeting people from Ukraine. ♥

I live in Canada. My uncle, who served in the Canadian military for 20 years and retired, left last week to fight on the side of Ukraine. He’s currently in Poland awaiting deployment.
I don’t know if this brings any comfort whatsoever, but I’m telling you this Pixie to let you know that people in the world see what’s happening and are doing whatever they can to help. Some people are taking direct action, like my uncle, and others are doing their best via support of Ukrainian citizens with money or spreading awareness.
We stand with you. Ukraine isn’t being forgotten and, while we can’t possibly understand how it feels to be in your situation, I hope that at the very least you know that people in the world care about you.

fun fact about jinx's tattoos, SPOIL ALERT: the blue clouds actually are designed to simulate the blue smoke from the canister vi gave her in episode 3. its to symbolize the reunion that jinx so desperately wants and craves. Funny enough if you take a closer look at vi's tattoos they also have have blue clouds connecting the joints. the two sister both imagine these clouds as being their savior in a way. so they aren't gun smoke. Something i love about arcane is how much thought and detail they put into everything!!!!!! no matter how many times you watch it there is something new to notice and love and appreciate. Its truly a masterpiece!!!

Very cool doll and glad to hear you are safe. The foot thing is genius, now I can create some Monster High customs that can wear flat or low heel shoes, or look normal barefoot which is great for making fairy characters. I've seen doll feet flattened with heat but that doesn't work for the big Monster High dolls which have hard plastic feet.
