On a day when the sixth anniversary of Mumbai attack was being observed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (November 26) told SAARC leaders that India feels the "endless pain" of lost lives and urged the eight-nation grouping to combat terorism unitedly. In his speech to the SAARC nations PM Modi also focused on the importance of international partnerships between the nations. Stating that the barriers of boundaries inhibit progress, PM Modi said international partnerships add speed to growth. The PM also spoke on issues of medical, infratstructural and business. He also talked about launching a satellite for the SAARC region, saying "it will benefit us all in areas like education, telemedicine, disaster response, resource management, weather forecasting and communication."
Besides India and Pakistan, the other SAARC countries were Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives and Afghanistan.

The Honorable Prime Minster Shri Narendra Modi is a Titan, a Visionary and the Savior of India. Six months in and not only has he genuinely managed to change perceptions of people at home and NRI's abroad; he has also managed to make the entire world look at India in a newly refreshed light for 'Acche Din' and hopefully 'Acche Varhsom' to come. And might I add a personal observation which I noticed when he visited Australia and all the events at which he spoke; I'm very glad to see that my beloved PM has improved on his English immensely.

Although I do not believe it is good to praise someone to heaven, especially so quickly, I do believe Modi and India has done more for peace and long-term prosperity this year than China has done the last ten years. The core values between these two nations and especially governments are so different, China has tried to build its soft power for decades but India gains more soft power in a few months. That's the beauty of some of the core values and passion they share with the rest of the free world.
