Stargazer is Rainbows masterpiece. All the harmony, the synthesizers, the strings in the end, the guitar , the drums and the bass. Everything comes together in the great final. Go into the lyrics and understand it more deeply. I see it as a story about a false leader that uses wrong methods to reach the heaven and fall in the end from the top and the slaves will be free. That can be understood on a personal level too, so you can see what will happen if you do all the wrong things to come to the top and step on other people on the way. But there are also other ways to understand it that gives meaning

Looking into your eyes and feeling the expression tells me you are open too and see what this song is all about. Hopefully you have listened to it again on your own time and absorbed all that it is musically, lyrically, emotionally on your own terms and personal meaning❤

1970's rock at its epic best - it is a track that you might not get - to begin with - Ronnie Dio's ( RIP) lyrics were always fantasy-laced, and Ritchie's Fender Mastery are the Key here. Glad you have looked into it though - would have been great if you had let the record run on into the follow-up - "A Light in the Black. The two together tell the entire story - although it is an incredible sonic workout and will leave you absolutely exhausted

So very nice to see you again, Happy 2023 to you! Great choice for a first song from them, this is as good as it gets, this was an all star bands and had otherworldly talent in Ronnie James Dio vocals, Ritchie Blackmore guitar and Cozy Powell drums. For some more try Man On the Silver Mountain, a shorter song but classic as well. I love that you are having such a great time with this classic music. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶

Hi my dear.... Having seen te thumbnail of this video this morning, shortky before I was off to work, I now had the pleasure to enjoy watching you enjoying it. Rainbow was a great hardrock band of the 70s and early 80s and Ronnie James Dio (R.I.P.) was probably the best choice for a singer, since his powervocals fit perfectly to the great music. This song is of course one of their very best, but there are other great Rsinbow songs as well, like "Long live rock'n'roll", "Man on the silver mountain", as well as their rendition of "Still I'm sad", or the 15 minute live version of "Catch the rainbow"... your thoughts and words at the end were - as always - so wonderful... nothing more to say !
I hope you'll soon come back to one, or several, of my suggestions.
Hugs and kisses from your dear friend Gerry

the greatest rock metal vocalist ever in history period no contest plus Ritchie blackmore , was lucky enough to meet both Ronnie n Lemmy n more 13+ times over 30 years+ Ronnie was the sweetest dude He loved his fans combine him with Geezer Cozy Iommi and you got the metal gods nobody could command a stage or tell a story like Ronnie he sounded just as badass 1st number as he did 3 hrs later live, even in his 60s with stomac cancer Ronnie James Dio was known for popularizing the sign of the horns in heavy metal. He claimed his Italian (siccilian ) grandmother used it to ward off the evil eye (which is known in Italy as malocchio). Dio began using the sign soon after joining the metal band Black Sabbath in 1979. still got my original albums signed .... Never Forgotten you little man with the voice of a roaring god Ronnie James Dio
“He loved his fans, he never forgot where he came from, and he always wanted them. He said to [Halestorm frontwoman] Lzzy Hale as well, and she’s continuing on doing that. So he said, ‘When you meet someone you won’t remember that 10 years down the line, it was nothing, but to them it was everything, and they will never forget it for the rest of their life. So make it important when you speak to them.'” he was wrong becourse several times over the years he asked me how it was goin with this n that so some he remembered ... In November 2009, Dio was diagnosed with stomach cancer and died of the disease six months later. Dio is regarded as one of the greatest and most influential heavy metal vocalists of all time.
not fair to lose Dio n lemmy n more but keep Bieber n Co

Can you imagine Blackmore hearing Dio singing with Elf ? Blackmore knew what he was hearing. He got rid of the original singer of Rainbow and brought in Dio .

Look, I am not wealthy enough to pay to play but I do know great music. I think most people fall into one type of music that they really like but as for me I like many kinds of music. I doubt you will do this but I would really appreciate you if you would listen to these few songs. I am 64 years old and have enjoyed music all my life. First of all I will offer the very first song I really enjoyed in my life at the age of 10, the band was The Monkees and the song is " Daydream Believer. Now let me start the real great music. Band 2. Lynyrd Skynyrd and the song is "Simple Man. Second song is by the same band and it is " Free bird. Now move on to the next band Boston and you could listen to the whole album called Boston because there's not a bar song on it but I will offer just one I hope you will listen to called "Foreplay /Longtime. Next is ABBA and the song is "Winner Takes It All. Next is the Carpenters and song is "We've Only Just Begun. Next is John Berry song " Your Love Amazes Me. Next is Collin Raye and the song is "Love Me,, on the lat song love me get your issues because you will tear up on it.. there are just a very few but each is Great. Thank you.
