saying this bc i havent seen anyone else mention it, that last metro round feels very noteworthy. I can't think of any time where one seeker has caught every hider (excluding fir because he wasn't caught), especially with this many people. Not only that, but Poo also found everyone as well. It wasn't as if Kirbs found Smant but Poo caught Smant in the chase, Poo pretty much won that game as a one man army.
The good thing about this scoring system is that it takes away the RNG of certain kingdoms almost always beeing easier for the seekers or the hiders (like everyone usually being found in 5-10 minutes on Lake or Ruined Kingdom versus 20-30 minutes on Metro or Moon). The bad thing about it is like that it incentivizes targetting- it’s optimal to let a person with fewer points go in favor of continuing to look for someone with more points, since there’s no running clock to worry about.

I have mixed feelings about this way of doing it. The good thing about the points is that it doesn't give an advantage to players who get lucky with the kingdoms they seek in, but it also reduces how much players are rewarded for finding a really good spot. There also should be an honor system because this makes it a lot easier to target players
They could always do something like award a bonus point to the winner of each round; that way you still get rewarded for doing better than the rest, without punishing for bad luck from the kingdom.
@@eivind261093 The problem is it leads to things like the smant lake thing where every seeker just gave up looking for samurai because they wanted to get smant who was first.
I feel that the timer system is a better approach, as it adds a sense of urgency for the seekers, every second could make a difference. The point system, on the other hand, encourages strategies like intentionally letting people escape to prevent other seekers from surpassing your score. While you could implement rules to counter this, enforcing them could be challenging. Although the point system does reduce some of the randomness from getting an unfavorable kingdom, I don’t think this is the ideal solution. Additionally, the idea of awarding points for tags seems flawed. It could lead to seekers not calling out hiders they find. After all, why alert others if it might just increase the chance of losing a point to someone else? This last question also applies to 'letting a hider escape' for strategic reasons. In the end, though, you should play in the way that you guys enjoy the most.
I feel the point system makes up for the inherent unfairness of different kingdoms being infinitely easier to hide in than others, while at the same time diminishing part of the disadvantage certain players get from being less experienced at the game.
