Robin Packs Up Patrick's Things
August 26th, 2010
After Robin and Patrick's fight at the hospital, Robin goes home to pack up Patrick's belongings while Lisa tells Lucky about her and Patrick's past.
Later, Lisa finds something shocking in her locker.
I think Robin packing Patrick's things is what makes Robin feel even more betrayed
I want this Patrick back ... the one who is willing to do anything to be with Robin .... How they have ruined his character

Patrick has always been the one who is willing to do anything for Robin. Robin abandoned Patrick and Emma to go help Jason.

For Robin to even utter the statement that she was a placeholder for Lisa... Patrick slept with Lisa once, he never loved Lisa.
He didn’t even consider her his girlfriend.
I don’t know why people keep saying she’s his ex girlfriend ,she was a hook up through college which is 10 years ago..
You are the only woman he’s ever told he loves them, wanted to make a commitment, and marry them and have a family. I understand you’re hurt but the writers could’ve had much better dialogue than this...
This is where they need Laney to be hearing this, and take Robin away

I will say the funny part and you knew right then and there soon as it happened that Patrick had no clue about relationships, was when he comes in the house and is shocked that Robin is packing his things and wants him to leave...
Obviously, any woman that Patrick cheated on in the past he didn’t give a rats ass about, just moved on.
Robin is the first one he has a commitment with, is married to, and he had no idea this would be the aftermath of him cheating which shocked me that the writers would do this...
And having Robin shut down so hard and so fast, really did make her into the person that Carly says... judge mental, entitled, feel like she’s high and mighty...
I guess it is worth examining that Robin is Patrick's first love, but he's not her's. I started watching some clips from the 80s a year ago and observing Mac and Robert that is a very Scorpio trait. On the one hand being very loyal, but on the other hand shutting down when someone they've trusted disappoints them. I watched a scene where Robert totally froze out Cheryl for not being straight with him about something that could've endangered Robin, it felt very familiar. Now that all that's been said for as much as I dislike the Guza take on Robin sometimes, looking at her childhood I do think they probably should've gone to therapy during the pregnancy. Robin has some serious unacknowledged abandonment issues and survivor's guilt. It seems like when she encountered major losses she focused on just trying to move forward which doesn't always equal healing. And I think Anna might be onto something when she said that her and Robert's relationships might've had a negative impact on her growing up. Anna and Robert and their partners might've loved Robin, but that doesn't cancel out the instability and losses. I think she honestly meant it when she said she didn't want there to be upheaval in Emma's life later.
I have a question. Does an extramarital one night stand count as affair because I thought affair meant extramarital relationship more than once?

I didn't know Scott Reeves was on GH.
Here’s the way I see the scene... Patrick never had a real relationship with a woman other than Robin, pretty much everything was hook ups and flings.
Robin had two serious relationships one wit Stone when she was 17 years old, and died from AIDS and one with Jason which was an oddity in itself.
Her real love story is with Patrick and he betrayed her trust, so she’s not sure how to deal with this.
This is when they should’ve been in counseling, not months later.
I know Robin can’t stand talking to anybody about her problems, but this is what would’ve actually made them stronger.
They would’ve been able to fight Lisa a lot earlier.
Patrick is willing to fight for this marriage and relationship.
I never thought Robin seemed to want to invest or fight for Emma or the relationship.
That’s what the writers did and it made no sense to me, you have two people that literally have chemistry off the charts.
They lightning in the bottle and you’re not really helping them.
Steve could have terminated Lisa or suspended her right away.
Patrick is his top neurosurgeon, orthopedic surgeons come a dime a dozen.
They also don’t bring as much into the hospital as neurosurgeons
I actually wish Patrick had taken a leave of absence with Robin maybe just two weeks that would help.
