I am impressed how staffs studied (G)-idle so well because you can tell from the questions Soyeon and Minnie got to answer. All of the questions were interesting that most of us have wanted to know about.
if only all interviews were like this not them asking who their fave artist is i swear ive heard that question enough times already
The way Soyeon is an actual genius, she didn't like the textbook way of teaching vocal lessons for the girls, she encouraged them to find their own charms and individuality; the (G)I-DLE we currently have is literally made up of the girls who found their unique charms, had they been trained just like the others, they would've been the same like all the other industry molded girls (no shades here) with no distinguished people. (G)I-DLE will be one of the most recognized and respected girl groups in kpop in the future, they're literally paving the way for creatives and other like minded people like Soyeon, and we're thankful for that
Agreed! I listen to a number of gg and they all sound the same. Same types of songs, same vocal tones. Why did Soyeon at 19 know what JYP and others don't after decades in the business?

@@bunny_chaehyun they took vocal lessons but all 6 members with different teachers to practice their own type of vocal.
If they took lessons from the same teacher they all would learn the same vocal technique and sound mostly the same like most of kpop groups do (no hate), but Soyeon didn't let them do that and decided to teach them separately with different teachers that were suitable with their type of voice so they can bring out their individuality and charms, not destroying them and not force their voice sound different.
That's why she's a true LEADER. 👏👏👏👑

yes i want her to open her own yt channel where she would post stories about their trainee days, behind the scenes like the one for i made where we can see what's her process when she's writing and composing and also videos where she explains the meaning of her lyrics ( like the Genius channel ) , because i feel like there's a real tought process behind each lyrics ( even the members have said it ) , it would so interresting !

Let's not forget that (G)i-dle was really close to not existing because CUBE in all its wisdom allegedly did not know what to do with the girls and they debuted because Soyeon provided the group with a song to use. The girls did not only defy the odds to become idols, they defy their own company too.

It is so interesting to see and know how soyeon's brain/mind work. She always work outside the box, even if she made a mainstream song like latata and dumdi dumdi, but she made sure there will be a something different to make it sounds special. And her lyrics always poem like.

Yuqi is my bias, but I find these two to be the cutest members. Everyone says Yuqi is the cutest but she’s such a bruh girl that I find her cooler than cute. The way Soyeon and Minnie talk is so cute ☺️
