  • Dr. Bikman draws a parallel between preparing for a buffet by eating less and exercising more to induce hunger and the conventional advice given for weight loss over the past decades. He argues that while this method might lead to short-term weight loss, it ultimately increases hunger, which is unsustainable and counterproductive. Instead, he emphasizes the importance of managing macronutrients rather than simply cutting calories.

I would eat less on the day. As I would not be able to thourghly enjoy the food.
I would NOT eat less on the proceeding days or increase exercise.

You can exercise in a fasted state and then eat shortly after. But fasting and not eating sufficiently is a recipe for disaster. Nothing will give you more pangs of hunger than exercise.

@@staceyloveswill Yes, I have been a carnivore for more than a year, but to lose weight I cannot eat in the morning. Hunger often wins and the result is 5 kg added instead of lost.

Beef lamb bacon butter eggs small fish, primary foods
Nothing from packets, cereals, or ready made meals, unless you made it yourself. Bread , rice, root vegetables.
I never ate rice very often, or a lot of green vegetables, I always complained, I was hungry two hours later.
This was before I even knew about Keto, ketovoire or carnivore, or even Atkins.
Trouble is I love sweet stuff ice cream, milk chocolate, etc. Plus root vegetables. Now I very rarely have them.
When I found out, All carbohydrates (plants) turn into sugar, I restrict them all, but some more than others.
You don't feel hungry. Most people don't even count calories. Eat until comfortably full. Max 2 meals a day. You will be surprised I never thought I could do it either.

Many carbohydrates in that stuff. Puts on weight if you aren't active enough to burn it off.

Okay, how does a person iof a certain age, sex, medical conditions, learn what macros are needed?
To me it's like hearing you have to eat "better", but no one explains what "better" is for you.
From my experience, this is the number one thing that makes Peoples's condition worse by not understanding what "better" is for their unique situation. Which to me is analogous to making sure you eat and watch your macros - how does a person know what their macros should be?
