I see so many YZ250s and 450s with stock exhaust including my own I just bought. Does Yamaha just have a better exhaust because I never see anyone else with stock exhausts
Hi guys ive had kawasaki for a long time now i have a kx250f 2013 and at the end of the season id like to change for a 2018 new bike but ive heard the 2017 and 2018 kx250f have been disappointing in powerband, id like to know if its really noticable or if its good in 2018, my friend just bought a yfz 250 and ive watch all the reviews, should i go for yamaha for my next bike ? Because husquvarna and ktm are a little to pricey and yam is ranked 3 thanks
John Martin do you have a 2018 YZ250F? If so, you say that you have a full FMF Factory 4.1 RCT system, how much bottom end does it take away? (If it does) And how much midrange - top end does it add? (if it does)
SpiderMonkey yes I have the full rct and if you don’t have the tuner I would keep the stock pipe feels great and sounds great. I basically spent a $1000 for a pipe $230 for the tuner just to me my bike feel like it did with the stock I like a torquey mid but with the fmf pipe you do pull longer in the gear. Hope this helps

Send It With Ethan I have a new 250f with the 4.1 rct and the factory one is way better more bottom end and sounds beefier.

Ping.. Can you do a whiteboard comparison of how round each wheel is? And of course, put the center hub in the middle of each one?
I go trough even the tightest ruts in 3rd and it powers right through
The black rims were the best
It's a great bike, but it sounds a whole lot better with a full akropovic system
