I like that shaking rod technique, getting that skirt some secondary action and fluttering, well said. Oh snap, the double hop is my jig bread and butter, glad I found your channel!
Can't go wrong with a jig, probably one of my favorite lures out there for versatility.

I’m in the panhandle with a lot of people fishing the same way. Really tough sometimes but I’ve been using the same baits since his beginnings and have always been able to get on some nice fish

yoooo this video is awesome. i live near a pressured pond that looks exactly like the one you were at and have been wondering how to catch ‘em. i’m for sure gonna try these techniques. one thing i’m wondering about is color - i have a green pumpkin, white, and black swim jig. when would you personally use each color?
They will all work. Shad and green/bluegill work year round. Black/blue for muddy water
Im going to try that. I haven't had much luck with a jig but i haven't put the time in either. I got this pond that has some biguns and you can see them sitting there. Wont eat nothing. I have caught a bunch in there before, i think they have gotten wise. Lol
