One of the best collision tacklers in the world. Always seems to stop people dead in their tracks, especially close to the ruck. Hammered us (the English) this Autumn. Big fan and always enjoy watching him play
I swear Argentinian stars get so underrated, especially following the Jaguares leaving Super Rugby. They have world class players but I feel like the rest of the rugby media doesn't really appreciate the talent. Hopefully that changes
That's true if only those tv pundits/commentators would do research. I heard one drone on about haircuts last week!:( Vamos Jaguares! The team is reuniting you think?
Every team needs a player like him that just tackles everything, hits every ruck and handy at set piece. Nothing flash just someone who does a blindsides job perfectly
Argentina will go down in history as being catalysts for the rugby media/world waking up and realizing that the sport is catching up around the world. The majority of the rugby community are scared of the fact that the likes of England, Wales, New Zealand, Scotland, etc. are beatable on a regular basis now by teams the community has deemed “lower tier”. I’m excited for the future of the sport as now there are more examples of players and teams for the youth to be able to look up to and relate to.
He used to be a card magnet (along with Lavinini) but both are becoming more accurate and circumspect. 'Beast' is the right word for either of them. 'Smiling assassin' is another.
@@EllliotJackRussel1 I did try to head off the generic Afrikaaner with generic German name argument but apparently i wasted my time... I'll try again - specifically which player(s) are you claiming are mainly of German heritage?
Maybe try doing a video without the annoying overpowering background music I've just turned your video off after 1 minute as I like to hear the commentary but couldn't stand the music

Top 5 flankers I reckon, with Ardie and Van Der Flier! Aldritt too and maybe Hooper.

I had been expecting some cards for him this year !! his tackle method is great be it body waist or legs.
Ahaha both were card magnets against Scotland this weekend but very true that they have become less of a liability

And how does he thank you for making this video - by getting himself sent off against Scotland 🤦🏻♂️
Hell of a tackler though
Confidence

Arguably the best German heritage rugby player of all time?
There are plenty in South Africa
@@EllliotJackRussel1 Like who? Just being Afrikaans doesn't mean you're of German heritage.
@@Matt_Alaric Plenty of common Afrikaner surnames are German: Venter, Strauss, Burger, Engelbrecht, Kruger etc
