This video was so helpful! I watched it prior to even starting the process, then had it on with my manual when I put the bed together. I put the bed and side shelving together myself, with help during the heavy lifting parts. Everything came very well packed and no damage at all. It looks wonderful in the room and I am thrilled!
I opened the Box that contains Panels 30 & 31. There are no Fasteners, Dowels etc. in the Box. In which of the 6 Boxes are the Fasteners? Why aren't there instructions on in which sequence to open the boxes? Why aren't the Boxes numbered in sequence? Very Poor Instructions.
We ordered one of these and they got damaged in shipping twice.. also you need to understand how long this is really going to take(15-20 hours) and how stupid heavy all the boxes are.
We built the bed & are happy with the quality. We are not happy that when the bed is down, it is about 1 ft away from the wall, so there is no 'head board' to sit up against & pillows constantly fall off the bed Any ideas?
After step 19 completed,, the metal frame only moves about an inch and kind of stuck. I noticed, cylinders didn't extend/shorten. Do you have any idea where I might do wrong?
I have the Claremont. Which has 3 front panels. When I am moving the bed in the up or down position. I see the left and center panels are separated and bowing out. I don’t feel comfortable with this! Is there something I missed? Also , when the bed is closed I need to pretty much move the panels to the center. And still have issues with the open space on both sides.
We are assembling now. The corner brackets and the part against the wall do not line up. Part # KI-7652-W-21 AND KI-7652-W-1. The the flat warning panel would need to point down. It is likely welded to the wrong side. Please advise. We are considering drilling new holes. PLEASE ADVISE.
@@davidwiseman3724 Yes, I am having this same issue. The instructions are saying to use the larger braket, but the video shows using the small bracket for this assembly. Tried both and reversed bar, still doesn't line up correctly.
I'm having hard time mounting the metal frame into the bottom wall. Are the screws supposed to go in at an angle? Also for the floor mount, is it okay to drill the holes through the carpet?
Had they provided proper Instructions, this Bed Assembly would be a Breeze. A failure by Bestar to provide Boxes with Contents labeled on them & the sequence to open the Boxes.
We are installing this bed. The bed doesn't want to stay down. Gas springs want to force the bed closed. I notice in the video one of the workers is holding down the bed. How is it suposed to stay down?
Hi, thank you for your question. It is normal that the metal bed frame does not stay open during the installation. Once the wooden slats are on and the mattress is secured, the weight of the mattress will keep the bed open (mattress weight requirements vary per bed size, please follow the specifications found in the assembly guide).

Thanks to this video I got a better understanding on the process and completed the entire bed and side cabinet and drawers in a few days by myself.

Question. On the vertical bed frame adjustment my bolt doesn't touch the frame to provide any kind of adjustment. Any tips?
Reverse the front bar. It has 2 settings. I had the same issue and reversed the bar and the bolt now hits the bar for adjustment
This issue is the reason I am watching the video.

Where and what are we marking the bottom of the wall for at 23:11?
If my ceiling height is slightly too low, can I modify this kit to fit?
NO
