Subway definitely over expanded. A while back, like 7-8 years ago they had 5 subways in my hometown, 3 of which were all within 2 blocks. It is a town of about 9,000 people and it’s a tourist town where almost everyone leaves during the winter. They were literally competing with themselves. A lot of it also has to do with its being franchised and there were 3 different franchisees in the town. I believe all that’s left is the one in the Walmart which was the newest and worst one.
I am a teacher and every time I dismiss my kids, I always said: "Alright, here we go!" and they have no clue what I am talking about. 😂😂
