The Stone Roses debut has been one of my All Time Favorite albums since I bought it on vinyl when it was first released. 'Resurrection', is one of the Greatest songs EVER!. I don't like much of ' Second Coming' , This Liam collaboration, reminds me if that period, unfortunately. ( How do you sleep, and especially, Ten Storey Love Song , are however, Fantastic). Oasis did nothing I want to listen to again, after 'Glory' . ( I love the Title track off, Be Here Now, not many seem to agree. I have EVERY release by both bands. ( Remixes, Live, etc). I actually met Noel in a hotel bar, and he sat down with just myself and my girlfriend. A gentleman ). I have all the Solo albums by both bands, up to recent times, but gave up buying them when Liam sold his soul to professional song writers. Squires 'Time Changes', album is horrendous. I had high hopes for The Sea Horses, but it a hard listen. The Majority of Brown's albums are crap. (A few highlights). Noel is threading water , after a good beginning, solo wise. Repetitive. ( If only his lyrics were as Great as his interviews). I have heard Resurrection. Actually I'm gonna stick the cd in the car now, to put a smile on my face , as I drive to work. Bloody (blue) Monday again 🤦😅

Been there in ‘89. Bought the album on release. Danced & sweated my way through countless T-shirts as a Madchester student. Go back tomorrow given half a chance. Any musical project to lure John Squire out of obscurity is well worthwhile. Classic guitar sound & vibe, great solo, all-important outro (which only Squire & Marr truly understand). Musically it’s all there. Lyrically it isn’t. So, so close.
