Hey everyone! FNaF World Refreshed 1.6 has been a game people have been dying to see me play for forever, so I'm really glad to finally get around to it! I wanna make it clear that although I may bring up problems I have with the game in this video, I still respect the Refreshed devs a ton for what they've been able to make, as this project is a super cool remake in spite of it's flaws. @psychoShrimpHSTB Vencord doesn't ban you for that, they can only ban plugins... but discord can ban people for using any modded client, doesn't matter the reason.... but they won't do anything unless someone snitch... and still, the probability is very low. I even send a screenshot of my modded client directly to discord, they didnt do anything And still, you can just make an alt to post the picture to evade the ban, discord doesnt do ip or hardware bans
I love how he keeps doing bits like "things were going according to plan... Until" and then it's him having bad card luck or being hungry, this game is so fucking easy it's comical
luckily for us the nuzlocke version fixes the entire unbalanced issue (and transfers it to the bosses side or more specifically the characters that sometimes have more health than the area bosses). I'd suggest AstralSpiff's hard mode nuzlocke

The whole thing about the revive mechanic could be fixed by making it to where if a character dies, they go to negative health equivalent to around 60% of their max health, similar to deltarune's down mechanic.
I was thinking a timer system before you can be revived, like once you're downed, the character has to wait a certain amount of time before being able to be healed to revival, and it extends the more characters go down, Gift box skips a large chunk of time, but doesn't heal, it just means you can start healing them faster.

I think fnaf world and refreshed is doomed from being either too stupidly easy or too stupidly hard. From the core of the game in the base game, you have giftboxes? oh well dont worry about litterally anything your not going to struggle at all, you take away giftboxes? the game is like 10x harder than normal because bosses hit like a truck and character health is miniscule in comparison, either forcing you to use, unscrew which makes the game stupid easy, auto shield which makes the game stupid easy, or giftboxes which makes the game you guessed it STUPID EASY take away all those things and you have challanges that take days or weeks to finish in a game that normally lasts like 3 hours. In the core of the game the devs would have to change SO much to make it more balanced that I think that the game just wouldnt feel the same. I like that the devs are adding as much stuff as possible to make everybody happy! Refreshed has been an absolute godsend that was much needed because I love fnaf world but that base game gets stale once you do, starters only, no leveling up, no moves, no heals, no bytes, no chips all at once and its just boring past that point. I agree that the game is ridiculously easy and thats where I think the fun comes in finding all the difficult challanges you could do with only pizza sim characters, or only new refresh moves, or no bytes/chips. Sure the game is really easy but imo thats better because it means more in the game for everybody to use and have fun with, just make your own rules to make the game difficult if you want balance. (not trying to like argue your take because I agree it is a REALLY easy game and this video proves it BUT I think thats what makes it so special is that there is SO MUCH to do that you need to replay and challange yourself)
Personally, I'm doing the nuzlock in the 1.6 update going to the ice caves and I unlocked Lefty and nightmare It is fun getting powerful characters. And trying not to lose characters.
My main issue with Refreshed is the defense issue. It feels like you need ALL the defensive upgrades to stand a chance later in the game and doesn’t leave a whole lot of room to experiment with new chips and bytes.
To be fair, FNaF World wasn't that hard either, getting a bot to spam 4 moves 'till everything dies would also make a "total mockery of the game's hardest dificulty" in the original game, and this version added a Nuzlocke gamemode, wich is also still extremely unbalanced due to enemy bytes, but it makes gift boxes useless and removes the (extremely OP) revive mechanic, so it is a bit more of a challenge

28:45 I would personally make the characters only findable depending on the world your in. For example, finding the withereds in the dusting fields, and newer characters like dreadbear in the raging dunes. This would not only make finding characters easier, but it also encourages world exploration.
