This was a great show. Watched it on the stream and absolutely stoked with the results. Huge congrats. Totally deserved placings for both of you guys, and also Mateusz (speedy recovery to him, what a warrior).
Tom's stone run was sick - even if Thor and Martins and Mateusz had been fit and competing it would not have been beaten.

Luke is such a role model for any bloke out there. He's one of the strongest men in the world, a committed family man, not afraid to show his emotions, and that affectionate peck on the cheek with Tom when he collected his 2nd place trophy just topped the lot.
There's a lot of talk out there of "real men" which usually boils down to a typical meathead thug type bloke. If you want evidence of a real man - take a good look at Luke Stoltman.

Well done to both off you, I thought Tom was the dark horse to win after he had been there a month to acclimatise. The fact Luke isnt a full time strongman and still pulled a second place out of the bag is impressive and hope this gives you a chance to maybe go full time.

Wanna know whats even better...…. no one asked had Luke anywhere and as he said don't write him off, as the late Patrick Swayze says..... no one puts baby in the corner and no one should write Luke off lol!! That last stone went up or appeared to go up so easy for Luke, I don't think it was meant but it was an awesome bit of video work. Focusing on Luke at the 10th stone then in the background a half naked out of focus Tom comes bounding in to support Luke, for me that was awesome, then boom Luke gets that stone up as if it were nothing. That rope guy had me feeling uncomfortable especially when he was taking up Luke's slack on the truck pull. Shame to see Brians face tripping him on the podium lol. Next year is gonna be tough, Brian will potentially be back on form as his crap results have left him reeling, Marteeeeeeeeeeeens will be back as well. No time to take the foot off the pedal Stoltmans :)
