Fam I'm a little older than Carlos and Dana Dane was a superstar. Rap was new to the entire country. Nobody cared about who was from where. I'm from Houston and back then Rapalot was in it's early stages of being a serious record label. We loved and still love Public Enemy, LLCool J, Dana Dane, EPMD, the Fatboy's, Kid N Play, Eric B and Rakim, BDP and Slick Rick. It's a shame that the younger generation aren't up on the dudes that paved the way. K-rino who is Houston's Rakim was inspired by Krsone.
