I don’t normally watch videos on KTM’s because I don’t like them, but I watched your video. Whatever my personal prejudice, there is no doubt it is a beast of a motorcycle 🇬🇧
I am assuming forcefully turn off the engine in case the missing key is too risky, can lead to accident, so they decided it's better to allow the engine work till the end if the ride
@@serhiy8615 Not sure what you mean, but cars with keyless ignition operate the same way as motorcycles, although some will kill the ignition once you put it in gear or drive or reverse. Some motorcycles might also be designed this way as well, I don't know. Bottom line is that the owners manual will be clear on the process.
@@surferdude642 got it. I have a little experience with a keyless car. In my case it turns off the engine after 40sec if it lost or could not find the wireless mark during startup, after it will interrupt any trying to start the engine.

That's fair! Thanks for watching!
Once it's running, you can ride without the key (keyless ride), but if you turn off the engine, it won't restart unless the key is very close by.
Interesting, so there's no limit once it's on to ride without the key?
@@CaliMotoTV That's my understanding from my experience with BMW and assuming KTM is the same way.

This or Streetfighter?
Streetfighter 100% I do have a comparison video. Maybe I'll put it up
@@CaliMotoTV Looking forward to that one
