father in law just bought this 2021 version as its not a bad deal on motability.....that is if you stay away from the EX pricing on motability. sadly had to do away with electric boot, electric seats, and heated wheel which would have been helpful for him as an older, less mobile man. still a very nice car and he seems happy.
I think you have proved that Honda is the power of dreams this is a great car and I'm waiting to take delivery of the Honda CR-V Hybrid 2WD SR spec in cosmic blue as the drive and comfort levels are off the scale but the only negative you have to pay extra for the car matts. Simply a great car and Honda have sold 9 Million> CR-V's world wide that number speaks for its self. I have been with Ford for 10 years but Honda is on a much higher level across the board and that is my sole opinion. Great video guys. Best Wishes Alan B x

The aluminium inserts are nicer than the cheap wood appearance- features similar to Mercedes GLC which is good thing- for Uk under £40k brings in lower car tax- instead of £325 extra- downside CVT gearbox.
Thank you, it certainly is an each to there own with trims, we like wood style trims if they’re dark enough, bias through actual wood in the C124, the aluminium makes a vehicle more sporty. Tax bands makes you see why traditional 6 cylinders are being replaced with 4 etc. The CVT is evolving, the new e-cvt in the Jazz is rather good.
@@PlanetautoUK Have had a second look at Honda and Test ride more likely. Many good points but rolly polly suspension and that CVT gearbox would be a concern. I have always driven German dual clutch Autos and can testify to their quality and enjoyment. Honda styling is growing on me!
@@PlanetautoUK Thanks for the reply. We were very impressed with the RAV, especially as its replacing a BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe diesel which has been faultless. It is a shame that due to the Hond's higher emissions it will lose a lot of sales to the Toyota. The RAV has a long lead time as Toyota are struggling to meet the demand, I'm unaware that there is a lead time issue with the CRV. It was good to see a Brit review on the car. 👍
It’s quite strange there’s a fair few of vehicles with this mod in the UK, however you will find the exception, one being Project P, thank you Sonar *B

With 50mpg and good ole Honda reliability (plus tech, safety, and the V-Tec - the most reliable engine in the world) refinement and comfort, there’s a lot going for this CR-V. And don’t forget the Hybrid tech - yes there’s a premium for it for the foreseeable future, but you get what you pay for...Have you looked at MG? We have a comparison video if you’re interested.😎 *A

The fake wood inlay is VILE! in reality it is a ghastly ginger colour, nothing like any wood I have ever seen. It actually STOPPED me buying a CR-V when it was launched with this revolting trim. But it all depends on individual taste I suppose!.

We took a look at the CRV, sadly its C02 emissions rule it out as a company car. We are ordering the RAV 4 Hybrid.

Exactly, that’s how we felt about some of the real wood finishes in the Phaeton, some colours suit, some don’t, dependant in trim colour.
The car is very nice. But the interior of the car it is horrible. Subaru Forester interior it is much beautiful.
We found it very nice and well finished. We agree with you about Subaru - they have fantastic interiors 👍
