You can stop auto-attack by queing "stand ground" command after the right click.
Its really hard to hit and run, hit and run, hit and run for new players. Its so much apm whilst building up your base.
Agreed, it’s something that takes reps and even top players will lose macro if they have to do heavy micro moves like raiding. One of my future videos is going to be over tips on how to attack and raid while maintaining macro

What is the purpose of placing a 2nd/3rd Town Center?
It’s an eco investment. More TC’s means more villagers which means more resources.
When you go second tc (or more) it naturally means you have less resources at first to spend on other things
It is then common for aggressive players to attack as soon as possible when they see a second tc and try To destroy it before the opponent gets a large village lead. They can do this because they put resources into units so they should have more than the 2 tc player
2 tc player has to dedend until their investment pays off and they can out mass opponent
