Perspective from a Dodger fan that is not in So Cal. Yes, Dodger Stadium as a stand alone is a beautiful stadium. But when you have; sun, 82 degrees, mountain view, beautiful sunset and the best uniforms in ANY professional sports, the Dodgers white jerseys....nothing can beat that setting for watching some ball.
great guest! gotta admire someone with such an appreciation for a specific aesthetic, baseball parks! Dodger stadium def has the best backdrop of any stadium. California sunsets when everywhere else is dark and cold.
Wonder about Joe’s take on the abundance of sports venues in LA. As a native, it blows me away - SoFi, Intuit, Crypto Arena, the Rose Bowl, the Coliseum, BMO Stadium, etc. And with the ‘28 Olympics, wouldn’t be surprised if the Forum hosts basketball once again. (and Pauiey at UCLA?)
I've been making that point for years. Having a background of downtown L.A. on a cool, clear night would be imo a vast improvement of what we have now, which is a view into a dark void during night games; at least you can see the hillside and a few palm trees during day games.
One of the greatest views from Dodger Stadium is from the concourse on the first base side of the park that overlooks downtown Los Angeles. This guys saying the stadium has great views "on a clear day" like Los Angeles from spring to fall isn't consistently beautiful clear days. Some days are hotter than others, and occasionally you get some fires in the surrounding hills, but Los Angeles is known for it's dry climate and clear skies.
So, in your mind, people who don't agree with you should be ridiculed? You do understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion and many of the other writers are in agreement with him. BTW, just how many of the 30 ballparks have you been to so that you feel educated enough to state your opinion?
For the record (since I was the one being interviewed), I've attended games at every MLB park numerous times, including Dodger Stadium. And I've seen games at every Minor League park, too. But thanks for watching!
Jeff, this was super interesting. Thanks for the content.

Great interview! Super interesting much to my surprise, his takes on the ballparks are very relatable and not to nerdy and esoteric.

I hope they never sell the naming rights to a soulless corporation. Dodger Stadium forever.
You saying you don't want to see the Dodgers play at Honda Stadium?
ESPN is reporting Ohtani will play game three based on text from Roberts. No official word yet from the Dodgers.
I love Dodger Stadium. I just wish it was flipped 180 and faced downtown

@@vasquezovj65 I totally agree. Being able to see the buildings in DTLA lit in Dodger blue during the game would be a chef’s kiss.
Reminds me of the Japanese word "Ikigai". Mr. Mock won at life.

What stadium has a speakeasy? Dodger Stadium
FFS if i had a dollar for everytime this guy plugged his website i'd have dugout seats at the next game..jfc
Who rents a car if you are visiting NY? Lifelong Angeleno but I would move to NY just for the public transportation if rent weren't so expensive.
Dodger Stadium is THE most beautiful Stadium in all of MLB. So this guy being interviewed is clueless. Probably he's never been to Dodger Stadium!

I’ve been, it’s average at best, Both Padres and Giants have a better stadium, dodger stadium is outdated.
Dodgers stadium is overrated, similar to New York, Dodger should build a new.
