Japanese speed-eating legend Takeru Kobayashi defeated his arch-rival and reigning champ Joey Chestnut to reclaim the world hamburger eating title today at the Krystal Square Off World Hamburger Eating Championship in Chattanooga, Tenn. The 31-year-old from Japan earned a score of 93 Krystal hamburgers in eight minutes, setting a world record under a new no-dunking rule established by The Krystal Company. Chestnut, of San Jose, Calif., finished second with 81.
I love how calm Kobayashi is. Joey is freaking out and Kobayashi is just eating like he was at his grandma's place. Just fast. very fast.

Yeah. He was so disrespectful at the end, too. The expression. Not clapping for Kobi. Every time Chestnut has won, Kobi has cheered for him. And most of those wins, Chestnut's food was all over the place. I swear a third of it falls out of his mouth. I feel his wins are bogus.

When watching Joey Chestnut eat, it looks like he hates food. Kobayashi eats like a man. The best man won... I would like to have seen Randy Santell and Furious Pete compete with Kobayashi and even Chestnut.
hes known for sloppy eating, and wasting lots of food on the ground. kyb is clean eater and rarely will waste anything. most of joeys wins over kyb are BS, but either way they are fucking monsters

Joey Chestnut only defeats Kobayashi or Matt Stonie when it's food where he can spill half of it on the floor. Plus, the judges usually don't want an East Asian winner if it's in the States, even if the winner is American by birth like Matt. Racist as hell. So much cheating. Joey only defeats Kobayashi in hotdogs bc he can drop soggy buns on the floor while Kobayahi finishes the whole thing. Matt Stonie does too.

Joey drops his food on purpose a lot because he knows it's the only way to defeat Kobayashi. If he were to eat the way Kobayashi does, Kobayashi would beat him 1000/1000 times, no contest. This is a perfect example.
