- This weekend I went to the yorkshire dales and I can honestly say it's as been my best experience wild camping so far ☺️ I wild camped in malham cove and in the morning headed over to gordale scar and Janet's foss. I would highly recommend checking these places out, the scenery is absolutely incredible 👍 thank you for watching atb justkarl_ outdoors

As you look at GORSDALE SCAR 😂waterfall the climbing route up is just to the left

Those rocks at the top are horrendous. The PW goes across the top across those rocks but I give up and went round the back of them
Gordadale scars 😂 had me chuckling that mate.. Its a cracking climb that waterfall I've done it several times, you ascend up the left side but when tha goes back to do it mate be very careful that limestone is incredibly Slippery in the wet.
Stunning area up above there on the limestone pavement be a reyt place for a bivvy. Great stuff tfs Andy.
Did not notice I was saying it wrong till I got home and checked 😂😂😂😂 mate all that area of the yorkshire dales was incredible and I totally agree there lots of spot for bivvy camping out there 👍 atb karl

Nice vid/vlog Karl. I noticed you camped on the ridge where a huge screeching owl visits at dusk, surprised it didn't disturb you ha ha. The Sawyer mini is great and like you I don't worry about the few minutes well spent filling up.

Malham cove used to be a waterfall hundreds of years ago but a sink hole opened up and the river went underground and now comes out at the bottom.
Malham was day 5 of my pennine way. I had to climb those steps at the start of day 6 Malham to Horton in ribblesdale. They're a killer

Im sure that's the place where I did my DOFE gold hike and that waterfall used to be a waterfall but hasn't been for a couple of decades now. The river comes out under the cliff these days. I could be wrong but it looks exactly the same place.

Rear cameras are always better quality anyway, I use my rear if I ever do any bits on my phone.

These are some of my favourite places to visit, good memories and absolutely stunning. Those stairs are a killer at Malam though 😆 Found the final part of the trail down to Gordale Scar a bit scary tbh 😅 but it's beautiful, did you notice all the faces in the rocks 👀
No only thing I noticed was lots and lots of sheep 😂😂 when I walked in I was the only person there which I was shocked at because it was just past 9 in the morning on a satday so don't no we're people was 😂😂 but the trip altogether was amazing really enjoyed it 🙂👍 thanks for watching atb karl

We’re did you get your guide ropes from are they thicker than the yellow ones
I got them from Amazon mate they are 4 mm thick the ones that the helm 1 comes with are 2 mm a think
