Hey guys! Today I’m showing you how to easily DIY a Macrame pillow for your home! This tutorial is NO SEW, yep, thats right we’re not using a sewing machine to DIY this pillow. We’re going to use a pre-made pillow case. I am also going to show you guys how to make a SQUARE KNOT and FRINGE for todays project.

This is the nicest macrame project I've seen. I'm not into wall hangings but this is sublime. I can't wait to do it myself. I subscribed to you about a month ago and you have beautiful style.
This pillowcase is gorgeous! Normally I don’t like macrame style but I loved this
Finished product is fabulous. Will probably put it on my ToDo list. I have only been macrame-ing for a few months but love every piece I do. The tutorials on RUclips are fabulous and the appreciation and acknowledgment of our comments is shown, but not here. Has anyone ever received a heart, like or comment from the MaCenna channel?

Back in the 70's I made 2 macrame purses and lined them and put zippers in them (one was for my sister). I also made an owl hanging and a towel hanger. When I moved 6 years ago and downsized, I gave away the purse I made and towel hangers, as well as my macrame books. Now of coarse it's all back in style! But for now, I think I'll stick with my knitting.
That pillow is absolutely STUNNING Macenna!!!
I remember all these wall hangings from the 70's. However, they used wooden beads where you use gold tube beads. Sometimes, ceramic beads were used. You keep me enthralled. Thanks!

Hi MaCenna! I really like this pillow case and think it actually might be something I can do. Could you link the macrame you used please? You described it as yarn and not cord and I wasn't sure if those were different (clearly a beginner haha)

Thank you so much!! I actually made this one myself out of natural, unbleached canvas and a natural colored nylon zipper but I have seen solid natural pillow covers like this one at IKEA and Target.

I think it's dependent on the project and how large or small it is.

Love this idea. Tried it out -and mine looks good but not as good as yours. Gonna try again. I am hooked. And a side note keep away from pets. My mini poodle claims everything I put down......including my pretty new macrame lounge pillow....🙈

This is gorgeous and a nice sized project for learners to start on I think as it is small compared to wall hangings. Your instructions are so clear. One question, can it be washed, like hand washed, or not?

I’ve become obsessed with macrame diy. Well watching the videos anyway. I still have yet to attempt it just yet. Im getting supplies this weekend to give it a try. This video has been amazingly helpful! You are very skilled and your video was informative and easy to follow. Thank you for sharing!
