Nice suggestions! Still waiting on Cast functionality for the Go; will make a big difference when sharing with others, and for guiding them through more involved experiences.
As usual, a great video. Thanks. The one I use to show newbies is "Welcome to Virtual Reality". It's a little boring at the beginning but gets much better. Don't have to use the controller once it starts.
I recommend vr chat for new people and old people it’s where you can talk with people around the world or just friends you can choose places to talk like a house a building a forest it’s awsome
Am still new to this oculous. Had for a week. One very cool thing to look at is the tutorial video. Actually shows a preview of dinosaurs and outer space. Another cool app was Disney.
100% on the ball Marcus, nice video buddy! - Have you tried the Plane experience in Face your Fears? That one is brilliant. I show people the same experiences you suggested also the one that seems to get the "wow factor" the most is the cinema app, I have Avatar on the screen in 3D and it blows people away. I took my GO into the center the other day to show friends who work in the shops etc, one of the centre's security guards was curious so I showed him the cinema and he was like "NO WAY!, NO WAY!" :) That's the moment you know soemone has just experience VR for the first time and it's knocked their socks off.
Yeah the cinema is a great one to show, I get asked that question a lot "does it really feel like sitting in a cinema". It's pretty close and very impressive.
Yes and I think them putting on the GO and instantly seeing a 3D movie is more of an impact, becuase they normally associate 3D movies with putting those dark glasses on. 'Avatar 3D' and 'Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets 3D' are probably 2 of the best 3D movies to show, as they have some really great depth to them. Both these movies will be staying on my GO for demo's.
I love 3D and wish it had taken off more than it did. Its still around but people don't go out of their way to see films or any content in 3D. Roll on mass adoption of VR so it becomes common place!
Hi RaMarcus thanks for your awesome videos I always love em. I personally love to introduce newbies to VR and agree with most of your recommendations however, I love to show off CLARO. This app is truly optimized specifically for the Go and shows off its capabilities in amazing detail. Its also not a bad puzzle game to boot. To really give a VR feel i love to demonstrate ASTRAEUS as the ability to actually move around and fly really blows your mind. The VR feeling is maxed out, imo its great. Thanks again for your great videos cheers.
I've not heard anything. The Go seems to be a success so hopefully people will start porting some of the bigger games to the Go, scaling them down a bit. If you have it on Steam you could try ALVR (I've got a video on how to do that), might not work perfectly though.
About 2 weeks till I get the oculus go. Got the item I’m selling on eBay to $150 (bidding) I need $208 to buy it because of the reserve I set. Costs $7.
Depends. For 200 it's not in the same league as the other two. But if you've got the money I would wait for the Santa Cruz, but if not you'll still have some fun with the Go.
I love mine and just got it knowing the Quest was coming in a month or so. It’s great for media, wow factor and there are a few good games too. FTW. Watching Netflix on a “huge” screen laying in the yard this past weekend was worth it alone. :D
Best guy for information and videos on the occules go on RUclips. Keep up the good work Remarcus.
Thanks Noff, appreciate your support. 😉👍
I got my Oculus Go because of you... Haven't regretted it since. Keep up the good work
Great to hear mate 😉👍

Agreed, you can use programs like Vysor but it would be great if there was an easier option.

Yeah that is a good one. I would stick that under number one. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for doing.

Agree, it's a good app to introduce someone to the Go. 👍
Awesome video Marcus! I have experienced all of what you covered. I am really enjoying the Oculus Go!
Thanks pal, they're maybe all obvious choices but might be useful to some or those who have yet to try an Oculus Go.

What is the name of the cinema app can I ask?
I like Pigasus personally. But it's a paid app. Just download all the free ones and pick one you like. 😉
Mine was a rollercoaster.. almost fell off the couch.. and face your fears.. brother didn't tell me it was the height one... I was scared.
Yeah they're simple but effective. Face your Fears still gets me and I've done them a few times. 😅
Great video as always! I’ve been showing NextVR to a lot of my buds to show them how cool basketball games are in VR.
Yeah that's a good one, watching Wrestlemania clips in 180 3D is very cool!

Thank for the feedback mate. I'll be sure to check out those suggestions and maybe I'll do a part two video with some others people have mentioned.
Hey great video dude. I always like to start people off with Dreadhalls ;) .That gets the blood pumping
You like sticking them in the deep end, but it is fun for you to see their reactions.
I liked googlebox really much.
I think it is really hard to show it off, without a cast Funktion, too.
Agreed, hopefully we get some form of screen sharing in some form in a future update.
Also Remarcus will you be doing videos on the HTC standalone unit.
Maybe if it comes out over here. I'm keeping my eye on it.
Great video love the skin you have on the front of the Oculus where did you find it
Thanks mate. It was just a cheap sticker from ebay.
Have you heard anything about Arizona Sunshine coming to the Oculus Go? Thanks!

Fingers crossed mate, hope you get the cash you need. 🤞
RaMarcus someone just bought it!!!!!! Only a few days till I get the money
Woot! Excited for you buddy! 😁
Ocean rift is this even oculus go or oculus rift
Or maybe even oculus quest
Should i buy the Oculus Go? Or will be better worth to wait for the HTC Vive Focus or Santa Cruz?
Depends. For 200 it's not in the same league as the other two. But if you've got the money I would wait for the Santa Cruz, but if not you'll still have some fun with the Go.

For me I let people play drop dead and all my family and friends loved it including my Nan 😂
Ha cool. 🤣
have you tried: play with me. If you did where can i see your comments?
Not sure I've seen that one. I'll have to add it to the list to take a look at. 👍
That’s gonna be one of the first I play when I get mine.
Vrchat
👍
I am so sick of the dubstep music in the videos... Besides that, nice one.
😁👍
Blade runner
Great film!
Who else decided to activate vr for this vid for a joke
