@ Yes… big fail on my end. Didn’t fully think through the idea and definitely should have printed it as 1 mold. Version 2.0 just got filmed today for my channel where i print it as 1 piece and made a few other fun tweaks
Keeping the square disc in frame at first was so difficult as I had no idea where it would go 😂 The thing would be going straight then somehow elevator to the sky and then start falling backwards. Truly the craziest flight I've seen from a disc 🤣
"If it falls out we're it doesnt count" happens and then Drew staring at Simon like "that cant be real" might be the funniest thing I'll see all off season. I've been chuckling about that moment for the rest of the video
Drew is the guy who just calls himself pro. In every event, but never IN any event. He should be in charge of complaining. He's like the tour groupie for huge band, but gets to jam with the band in practice

I know it’s a little more effort but for anyone printing a disk 98A TPU is really good it doesn’t break. I’ve printed many and they work well and don’t break.
I did Drew's 3 disc tourney in Arizona last December and he is exactly the same off the camera as he is on. Lol cool guy Edit: Drew if you see this I still use the driver and mid. The mid is my go to, it reminds me of the kea which was also one of my favorite discs
My suggestion would be for a hexagonal putter. No roll aways, ever. Octagonal might work, too, though more prone to roll at least a bit. Being closer to round than a square, it should fly a lot better than the square frisbee. (Can't call it a disc since discs are round....).
Wonder if their professionalism is a hindrance on these types of challenges? Also, on the asymmetrical disc if leading edge matters? And great strike noises.
My take away is that the 3d printing just leaves the plastic too hard but manufacturers could take his tested concepts and produce injection molds to produce the right type of plastic 🤷♂️👍👏
@@Peg_Leg9n It’s just the plastic I am most comfortable with using currently. I am soon going to start printing with TPU which is what disc golf discs are made of currently, that way they won’t break right away and be stiff. just more expensive and finicky to print with, but i’ll definitely work towards it
My mate has a couple of discs (may be Lonestar) that are a bit like coke bottle plastic and make a real "Pang" noise when they hit the ground... A bit like a tin can lid.
That’s crazy. I have literally had dreams where I find odd shape discs, including the square disc the size of a record player album cover. Also large oval shaped disc.

That mini disc is the next evolution of disc golf. Make all the discs that size and suddenly this game is a lot harder. No course redesigns or anything.

You can also get silicone mold making kits, use the 3d print to create the mold, then use one of the many types of resin to form the final disc.
@@LetsGoDiscGolfTry Highspeed TPU from Overture. I've had great success with it, it's very similar feeling to an actual disc.
