I'm plucking up courage to cut my husband's hair and have watched a few videos for cuts for his age group. After watching and re watching, I've come back to yours as I feel you explain and demonstrate in a way that I think I could do. Thank you for your help.
My step father was just diagnosed with brain cancer. He is afraid to go to the barber after his recent surgery and has asked me to cut his hair. This was a very easy to follow tutorial and I really appreciate you putting it together. I can now confidently give him a hair cut.
I have one bad hand well i csn hold a comb with it but I can't use the fingers like that but I've seen theres ways with a clipper. Can you tell me more because I can tell even if I was able to do it this way I don't feel like it would hsve been rounded. I think that hard line can be seen.
I have had the hardest time finding a good, methodical video on hair cutting. My husband has fine thin gray hair and always asking me to cut it. After watching this, I feel more confident. Thankyou
Do you basically finger length scissor cut all over? I cut my dad’s hair and used scissor over comb for back and sides. He said I cut it too short on my second haircut. He has started me cutting his hair.
I usually ask my client on their length preference & I adjust accordingly. I usually leave the top longer than the sides. Hope that answers your question.

What do you mean exactly when you say stiffer? are you trying to do a flat top? I usually just apply hair gel for that esp. when the hair is fine.
