It's like a giant vacuum cleaner. You can see all the pressure around it rushing towards it.

Those 'C' shaped thunderstorms are the worst.

That's the rear flank downdraft cutting through the updraft base. Usually means the storm is capable of producing a tornado, especially if it happens over and over (cycling).

Thankfully no, no one died and only a few people injured, thank God for basements that are in Kansas and most states in the Midwest

@@The_Real_Nikki Andover will rebuild, we did it back in 1991 with an F5 that leveled half the town. This F3 only got a few houses and the YMCA, and with no one dieing this will only make us stronger.
