I've watched about 6 videos on how to build some of these for my kids, and this is by far the best explained, and detailed video. I love that you precisely explained all measurements, sizes, and even gauge of materials used. Thank you for sharing!
Great video. I just complete 6 cars. Took about 5 weeks. I’m pretty pleased with finished product. Was for a granddaughter birthday party in April which prob won’t happen now due to Virus shutdown Thanks for videos on construction!!!!!
Great videos. Thanks, my son and I are going to start building some cars and converting a couple lawn tractors into a steam locomotive style trackless train to pull them with.
Could you publish a complete materials list? It's kind of hard to follow through the videos. Great instructions. I am building this for my church Sunday school. Thanks for great videos.
I would like to build some of these but I live in a very hilly area. Any suggestions on the hitch and receiver that would handle going up and down Hills correctly
I want to make the barrel train for my grandkids but the only thing I don’t know how to do is welding. Can you come up with a non-welding version? I saw how people use Dolly’s but I didn’t know if those wheels are strong enough. Thoughts? Thanks!
This is what I head: 52in long 1"sq tube / 20 in long 1" sq tube / 5/8 in round stock 7"long / x2 1 wide 5/16 thick flat bar 5" long / x2 harbor freight tired
+koliloaloa I use whatever I have around the farm that is not being used at that moment. You can use a riding lawnmower (my boys want to go faster than a riding lawn mower will go), I sometimes use my small tractor with a drawbar hooked to the three point hitch. Honestly, the most convenient thing to use is my Kawasaki Mule (like a golf cart with a bed on the back). It really doesn't matter, as long as you use some common sense with the management of the throttle. It pulls pretty easy, so you could use a small four wheeler or a golf cart too. I will say this, my kids love riding in that thing. Just wait till after a big rain storm and drag them through some puddles, they will think you are the best ever. We were also considering pulling some kids in a local parade. In upcoming videos I show how to cut the barrel, attach the barrel to the frame, make the steering wheel (there is no way that I was going to pay $25 each for plastic steering wheel), make the seat, make a dash, make the brake light simulators, and apply the graphics. Please stay tuned we have most of the video already filmed, it just take a lot of time to edit it. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this video. I have three grand children and I'm going for this project.

Would you happen to sell the complete assembled train barrel frame?
Awesome info 👍You have the website to order tires ?
Hi great video!....How much did everything ended up costing you?

Grab a ball hitch and tongue. Run frame rails into whatever angle the tongue requires. Weld it all together and throw a ball onto the lawn mower.
Vc tem as medidas do chassis? 5:32
What is the cost per cart?
is there a way to have it hook up to a 2 inch ball insted a pin?

Hmm just bolt in lieu of weld?
