I like how you guys emphasized Christ in the chorus. So often, Christian songs only mention "You," making God seem vague and impersonal. This is well written, worshipful, and is very personal.

Thanks for your question! We’re trying to model the pattern of the Psalms, which contains both songs with deep substance and songs that are short and/or repetitive. Ps. 117, 118, 136) We think there’s room for both!
I was wondering the same, as I have a harder time saving songs repeating the chorus 4 times, and really admire songs with rich new lyrics each verse.
