    Did they improve PureVideo? I think so! It's amazing that we are finally given a whole new shooting environment with an action camera. Like I always say, action doesn't stop when the sun goes down 😉

    Wow this is truly one of the best ace pro 2 pure video recordings so far done across world wide youtube publishers. Absolutely well done! So far nobody mentioned or showed that you can actually change the color profile in pure video mode so this video is the best ever! I have watched the video a few times, and as you mentioned, the anti blur setting works the best when walking and prevents jidder in the video. Regarding the colors, its true some color profiles are not really made for low light. To me what stands out positively is the setting in film mode (starting at 08:15). This is to me actually pretty good but what do you think?
    Also at the end when you change the WB to 2600 the yellowish typical of the ace pro 2 is less visible by selecting the standard color profile.
    I wonder which setting at the end has your preference?
    Kind regards from The Netherlands

      Thank you sir... I hope this was what you were looking for ;) Yah, I thought Leica NAT would be good but after looking at all these profiles, I do like the 'Film' profile a tad better but I think the best one is Standard with the WB between 2400 and 3000 and will depend on how dark and the type of lighting you're shooting. Those street lights as mention are amber so everything looks like it's really saturated. The new version of Insta360 studio desktop app has added some nice color grading tools now which is excellent for post color grading/correcting.

    Amazing how good Pure video mode is, Ace Pro 2 is slightly better. Do you see big differences when you use Matrix, versus face prioritization. As long as you don't vlog. And is there a difference between face and matrix when you have the camera aimed at the surroundings. Great test as always👍

      Thank you my friend! PureVideo will just get better and better as we've already seen no matter what the 'others' are saying. Before we know it, it will become a regular everyday 'night' shooting mode. We are in 2025, if a any camera isn't putting out good footage in good lighting, they should be making something else other then action cameras. At this juncture, it's all the 'other' options/features that matters now and how we can take an action camera and expand it's usability. I put it in Matrix mode as I'm not shooting my face lol, as far as I know, Matrix mode for scenery is slightly better in exposure.

    You asked if there is another request for the ace pro 2....well its regarding the audio mic quality....everybody else is testing the microphone of the camera when filming themselves. However when you are eg hiking, biking, you are filming the surrounding. So what is the audio quality (including and excluding wind reduction) if you are talking towards the back of the camera? (Since the camera recording is facing to the outside and therefore the mic is not positioned towards the person talking). Hope you understand the request?

      haha.. funny you say that, I'll shoot up a video of this purevideo test, I actually ramble as I'm shoot as I can't keep my mouth shut most times, you can see between the two the differences in audio while facing away from me. Give me a minute and I'll post it. I absolutely love the new audio improvements they made on the Ace Pro 2, it's day and night difference compared to the Ace Pro, the wireless mic feature via DJI is soooo much better now as I mentioned in my previous video. I will be do a similar test but with audio between the two next and I want to do an 8K comparison with Ace Pro as well, might just merge the two into one video ;)

      @@WiljanWiljan ruclips.net/video/ZKyqdL8wS3A/видео.htmlsi=2TT62CZIXGL5Ci8B , not a huge differences when talking behind it. The only things I noticed are... the voice is a tad 'softer' with the Ace Pro 2 and when there's a gust of wind, the Ace Pro 2 handles that a bit better as it should with the wind muff cap. But I hear that switching over to Voice Enhancing mode in the AP2 mic settings is suppose to be better in a vlogging scenario so I might try that later on.

      @@MiyagisRantthanks for the video. Just watched and indeed very little difference. Maybe the mic recording difference is more obvious with the ace pro 2 when doing some more tests. Not really vlogging tests, but mic test behind the camera since for many users we want to film while hiking, biking, visiting a museum, filming family etc. Kind regards,

      @@WiljanWiljan Yah, there's a huge difference in the wireless BT mic recording between the two, the Ace Pro 2 sounds almost like the native wireless connection with the DJI mic to DJI cameras. Also, AP2 now does dual channel so it will actually record using the BT connect mic as well as it's internal mic, you can select which one you like better or use the Insta360 Studio app mixer to mix the two together, it's actually pretty neat. The DJI mics on the Ace Pro is not great, like it works but the Ace Pro 2 is much better and you don't have to crank the gain like you did with the Ace Pro.

    I own an Ace Pro 1. Is the Ace Pro 2 that much better that it would be worth me selling my Pro 1 for the 2?

    • @MiyagisRant
      @MiyagisRant  7 часов назад +2

      Ace Pro is still an excellent camera as I have two of them, the Ace Pro 2 imo is better with these improvements, PureVideo Plus (if you shoot a lot of low light/night scenes like I do), Audio is greatly improved via connectivity and wireless compared to the Ace Pro, 8K is now in 30FPS which is actually usable and the quality is stunning as you've probably seen in other reviews, the change list for the Ace Pro 2 was quite large compared to what we've seen with other brands on new launches. That said, do you need to upgrade? that's entirely up to you, if you're happy with what you have and it does what you need then stay with the Ace Pro. We are now in the era where a new camera is out pretty much annually and the new models will always have something new or improved and let's be honest, these things aren't cheap and if ppl buy a new camera every year, they would be poor lol. But if the new camera has improvements or features that benefits you greatly, then you have your answer. People like me will always chase new tech, it's like an addiction 🤣

      @@MiyagisRant I'll be honest. I was never super impressed with the Ace Pro. I got it because of the low light capabilities that honestly never really blew me away. The Ace Pro was batter than the DJI Action 4 I had at the time, but the full light quality of the Action 4 was better than the Ace Pro, but the Action 4 had no low light anything. So I sold my Action 4. I went to Disneyland in September and decided not to bring my Ace Pro and used my Pocket 3 exclusively because I find the Pocket 3 does a much better job at low light and stabilization (full light and low light).

    • @MiyagisRant
      @MiyagisRant  6 часов назад +1

      @@tommycote1550 I would rank the Pocket 3 as having the best low light in all the cameras because of it's 2 very big advantages, 1st it has the largest sensor of all of the cameras and 2nd, it's on a gimbal. If you get a chance, look at my review of the the Hohem iSteady v3 gimbal not too long ago where I put one Ace Pro on that gimbal and the other without, look at the difference it made, add a larger sensor and now you have the Pocket 3 ;)
      That said, two very different class of cameras. One is an action camera where it can handle drops falls and the elements, the other is not. So yes, if you're comparing low light/night footage Pocket 3 is best but there's one thing I consistently see with Pocket 3 footage/reviews, inspect the background sharpness, notice anything interesting especially when you're shooting a vlog. It's not as sharp/detail as an action camera like the Ace Pro or the DJI A5 Pro. Ace Pro 2 has improved their lens system, it's now focused in fore and background even in low light and night mode.
      For me, I'm a fumbling idiot, the Pocket 3 would not last me long as I would probably have that thing is 4 pieces after and outing lol. Also, for me, I would like a camera that I can use from one extreme to another without having to switch cameras. I think for a lot this is important. A good example is scuba divers, we can have good lighting one minute and almost zero lighting the next, this is where a camera that versatile like the Ace Pro 2 or even the DJI Action Pro 5 comes very handy. Not to mention we can't dive with a Pocket 3.

    • @tommycote1550
      @tommycote1550 6 часов назад +1

      @@MiyagisRant I completely agree with you. The pocket is not an action camera. I don't vlog. I use my cameras for recording and archiving fun times with my family. I cannot use my pocket in a lot of scenarios, like action or water shots, hence why I originally got the Ace Pro, so that I could do the action and water stuff with my family. But I was never really all that impressed with the quality. I'm not saying it's a bad camera by any means. I can't explain it. I just don't care for the look and feel of the quality of the video. Also of note, I'm not a videographer and content creator. I'm terrible at shooting video and editing video. I do this for fun, not for money.

      @@tommycote1550 Are you talking in general you don't like the Ace Pro videos or just the PureVideo shots? I've been always happy with my daytime footage with Ace Pro as I like their color science that's personal preference, some don't like it some love it. I'm not a big fan of GoPro's color science and I also like DJI's color science. Can you be more specific, maybe it's just a setting.
