Dan has what I have which is Arfid it's only recently been a diagnosed disorder in the UK but has been around in the US for years I understand how his brain works some food just instantly makes you throw up, mine revolves around stuff in gravy or sauces.
Can I just say re: salt and vinegar on the hotdog. Salt and vinegar crisps if removed from a hot dog would still taste like the S+V. A hotdog isn’t dry, it’s slightly moist and it will absorb the flavours. You definitely will still taste the S+V imo
When Dan had the hotdog, I realised that mustard is the common denominator. He can stand flavours if there's a little spice dancing upon his tongue to mask them. Not so sure about textures with him though 😂
