Crook already laid it out, it was about JOE BUDDEN. Crook and Joell didnt wanna leave Shady they wanted to finish Glass House 10 years ago. Joell has never gotten the push from a marketing and management standpoint that other artists seem to receive. Other than Slaughterhouse, his other projects and overall career arent known by people who don't follow the underground rap scene. It sucks that someone as talented as Joell hasn't gotten the attention his talent warrants because other people have dropped the ball in how they marketed him. I'm not sure if that's a management issue or what, but it's unfortunate.

@@PardonMyPresence But the merch was tied to the music. The music was there. All musicians put out merch. My comment was because that was the only thing Royce has said they could've had. There was never gonna be new Slaughterhouse music
I get being in between that whole situation but if you feel that strongly that someone in your camp is in the wrong as a friend you should be able to call them on it. If they can't take constructive criticism they aren't really your friend.
Exactly...and Joe wasnt able to. Bc only when your able to objectively take a look at your actions and see your role in them and what you could have done differently......can growth and reconciliation/ammends take place.
Crook and Joe are not desperate for money nor did they need to market the album that way. I think they were genuinely hurt by a situation that went unresolved for 10 years and spoke on it
Joell otriz worth 3 million, crooked worth 3 million, Royce worth 3 million, Joe Budden worth 6 million. The problem was Joe Budden and Royce was waiting on Joe Budden but he is a drama queen. They should of just went on the 3 or add a new member
The only thing that conversations like this create is more separation. The only person qualified to speak on the situation is Royce. Even then, he can only give his perspective. Everyone else there simply jumps out the window to say that the other members were dirty and greedy. That is all speculation, you don’t know their motivation. They each have come out publicly and said that money was not the factor behind making that record. So are they lying? Are you just bashing their character because Royce is present? At some point people need to stop assuming they know and accept that only these four MCs know the true story. Fact is, until they can all get in one room and hash it out and squash it, these conversation will only make the divide bigger. Tell you one thing, if they can work it out, they can change the logo to a pig with wings rising from the ashes and call it the Resurrection of Slaughterhouse.

Why doesn't anyone ever ask Royce what does he think him and Joe could've done differently or better? Him & Joe never discuss that, it's always pointing the finger at the other group members. Where they do that at?
Joes stance is always the same. Im retired and im not rapping if we dont own it. I dont think royce can do anything different. His stance was always im not rapping without the 4 of us. Crook was floating the idea of replacing joe with a new member to put music out. Joell im not sure what hos stance was Prior to putting this album out and the live videos.

This is the most confusing - I don't even know what to call it. Like they all been there and know where it can and could go from jump. Yet they all acting like they were surprised at Joe, shocked at crooked and Joel, and flabbergasted at Royce. Like none of them knew nothing bout each other or had a history out there. What has happened is an outcome that was very possible that anybody that knew was aware, could happen. And a good percent scenario just played out that way.
The bias from you guys is wild.... there's so many things about the SH situation that Royce says that is verifiably false... he acts like there wasn't receipts from the entire time-frame... but I guess you want to take the sides that can help with business relationships
So what are the receipts cause all I see is 3 side: Crook/Joel, Joe, Royce been stuck somewhere in the middle, then behind the scenes shit we’ll never know 🥱
Yo if you STILL caught up on Slaughterhouse as a fan, it's over. Get over it. If you're focused on Royce dissing Lupe again. It's over. Get over it. Then question yourself, are you really a fan or an merely an instigating onlooker
I ride with Math’s explanation. I think it’s rooted in jealousy. If it was a money thing they could have A.) Asked the group for help or B.) Planned WITH the group to do a fake beef for sales then reunite with a surprise album. For men in their position, there are countless options to get money without choosing betrayal…unless you are envious/jealous.
Finally someone making sense of things... how you got the brand of Slaughterhouse and not making $$ off of a name yall built together. Still could of made Slaughter house music with just two people and had royce do a song. Bunch of singles no album snd still made great $$
It's not even jealousy. The problem was always Joe's ego. Joe enjoys being the one in control and he likes to toy with and diminish others so he can feel above them. He's incredibly manipulative. There's countless examples we can point to on this pattern of behaviour with him, but very tellingly was anytime Joe and crook have had to interact on a camera....Joe tries his usual tactics and crook is stone faced and legit not falling for one single bit of it. I've seen interviews with those two be awkward as fuck. It's palpable that crook does not like when Joe tries it with the bullshit. Joe could not manipulate crook, and he could not demean him. Crook wouldn't fucking let him. The whole issue was Joe saying he wasn't rapping anymore, which IS what he said, and not just publicly. He said that to crook, and otherwise dodged crooks calls. Joe wanted to be the one in control, the top dog, the powerful one....the one the others were DEPENDANT on. And he didn't give a fuck how that impacted anyone else. Crook simply said "no" to Joe's ways and refused to BE a dependant.
Crooked doesn't have a reason to be jealous of Joe & Royce nor be desperate for money. He's the CEO of his own record label (C.O.B Digital) and Vice President of another label (Treacherous Records). He even has his own talk show you can watch on RUclips (Crook's Corner). He also did an interview for Eminem on it 2 years ago plus he had a feature on Em's last album. Crooked loves Slaughterhouse, he just wanted the group to reunite for one last time and give the fans closer... nothing more nothing less.

Not a big fan of Joe as a person what is catalog is undeniable and I understand from a business standpoint why would you rap if you're making way more doing a podcast you don't understand what Joel Ortiz and Crooked I did, they started cleaning the group was done and their album cover head their old logo burning or some s*** like that while they still had tons of merch they needed to get rid of under the name slaughterhouse. Royce got the pig tatted on his hand and if they were all in one room right now it would be love when you do business with friends it gets choppy look at G-Unit 50 Cent looks at Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks as potheads that aren't productive because he's multitasking sober getting s*** done, where Lloyd Banks could care less about the extra s***, Tony Yayo wants to clear his debt off with a hit and I ain't talking about music Banks rather be a pornstar and smoke the best weed money could buy
Crook already laid it out, it was about JOE BUDDEN. Crook and Joell didnt wanna leave Shady they wanted to finish Glass House 10 years ago. Joe walked out on them, mid album even though Eminem stepped aside and let them control Glass House. Joe Refused to honor the contract. Joe wouldnt do SH music unless they forced their way off Shady. Then when they did Joe was still playing games, not even answering Crooks calls.. At the end of the day Crook and Joell dont F..K with Joe anymore, he only cares about himself.
Royce thinks he is so wise but doesnt understand sometimes by sitting on the fence you are actually picking a side and only fooling yourself. I personally think Royce is full of shit and more like Joe than he realizes. Royce and Joe moved on from SH they just wanted to keep Crook and Joell on the back burner in case their other projects dry up...

It might be some background Brooklyn problems we dont know about.

Yeah that's odd, as if Math's projects don't go under the radar.

They needed money.
They definitely needed money

YO MATH you gotta bring Crook and Joell too. Gotta hear all the sides.

Then what are these guys in the room? ESSO and others are instigating no?
Sometimes you have to choose sides... and stand on it 💯
I ride with Math’s explanation.
Bunch of singles no album snd still made great $$
Well maybe the fake beef has not ended yet? 😅
Royce talking of all these brands, merchandise and all but the group is stagnant af.
Why can't it be that they actually wanted to talk to the fans from their point of view?
Exactly what it was
Lol nobody was gonna ride wit Joe over that wu tang shit 🤣
