Want to create a collapsible sidebar menu in WordPress? Collapsible menus allow your website visitors to easily access many links without cluttering up your sidebar. It's perfect for large websites, e-commerce stores, or any website with a more complex layout. In this article, we will show you how to easily create a website. The most user-friendly menu gives you easy access to all the links your visitors need. However, this can be difficult for sites with many pages or more complex layouts.
Imagine a large e-commerce store with many product categories and subcategories, eg: B. Amazon. It's not a good idea to show every product category in the standard menu. How to Create a Collapsible Sidebar Menu in WordPress You can create collapsible sidebar menus in WordPress using the Bellows Accordion Menu plugin. Bellows Accordion Menu provides a handy shortcode to place your collapsible menu on any page, post or widget area, including your sidebar.
First, you need to install and activate the plugin. If you need help, see our WordPress plugin installation guide. Once activated, go to Appearance. Menu page in the WordPress dashboard. First, enter a menu name in the Menu Name field. Your website visitors won't see this name because it's just for your own reference. Then you can click the Create Menu button.
Next, you can select the pages you want to add to the collapsible menu. By default, WordPress only shows your recent pages. If you want to see a list of all pages on the site, click the View All tab. Alternatively, you can click Select All. This will add all your pages to the collapsible menu.
When you are satisfied with your selection, click the Add to Menu button. You can also choose post and blog categories or add custom links. This will change the order in which these pages appear in your collapsible menu.
