I was glued to the stage when I watched this play. Amazing cast ! Re: Cinderella (1950) - the animation was promoting for women to be stay at home mothers and from my research, it indicates that if women choose to work when they didn’t have to, they were considered selfish! It is almost 😅 unheard of now though, that association of selfishness and working women in this financial climate.
