I humbly request you to consider making a film that sincerely addresses the growing gap between young individuals and their parents when it comes to marriage decisions - and promotes understanding, wisdom, and morality over blind rebellion.
Although many films have been made on the theme of two lovers facing opposition from their families or society, the primary focus in most of those stories is on how the couple fights against their parents, elopes, and makes extreme sacrifices to prove their love.
Unfortunately, such films often romanticize emotional rebellion and impulsive decisions, without offering any real message of responsibility or social balance. They inspire passion, but not wisdom.
What we truly need is a film that raises awareness and conveys these important points:
1. Girls should not marry without the consent and blessings of their parents. Parental guidance is based on experience and genuine love - not control.
2. Young women must be cautious and not fall prey to sweet words and temporary attractions. Many so-called "lovers" vanish when real responsibility begins.
3. Parents too must rise above caste, community, or financial status, and if the boy is genuinely good, kind, and responsible, they should allow the marriage.
4. Eloping and getting married secretly is not only unethical but also causes serious damage to the girl’s dignity and the family’s honor.
5. Marriages between individuals of different religions - like a Muslim girl marrying a Hindu boy or vice versa - often lead to tension at both family and national levels. These are sensitive issues that require thoughtful guidance, not impulsive decisions driven by emotions alone.
