  • MY DIALYSIS NURSE SHOES REVIEW -- I LOVE HOKA ONE ONE
I am not sponsored, but if you decide to purchase these shoes through my amazon affiliate link, I will get a small kick back. And the great news is the kick back the money goes to Dialysis Nurses Supporting Nurses RUclips Channel. I am grateful for all of you!
Since bringing these Hoka One One to the clinic, it has been fun to watch other staff convert to hoka's for their sore feet. Healthcare workers work hard all day, and are hard on their feet. I know I will close my standing ring on my Apple Watch when I'm at work.
This video I am going to focus on Hoka one one shoes. I have tried many different kinds, but after all these years in healthcare and running, Hoka One One are my go to.
HOKA BONDI -- Super cushion. No feet pain here. Large sole, I'm a heel dragger, sometimes I trip over my feet in these. Sometimes I think the Bondi's have too much cushion and I end up tripping on my. feet throughout the day. I do grow at least an inch when wearing Bondi shoes.

HOKA CLIFTON -- less cushion, but still really great cushion. I prefer these on my shorter days. I trip less in these shoes, my feet and knees don't hurt. But usually when I have a 12 hour day, I'll wear my Bondi's.

HOKA CLIFTON ATR -- technically a trail running shoe. Still has great cushion, and I generally like the look of these more. I get a lot of compliments on these becuase the shoe colors match my scrubs.

ALTRA LONE PEAK TRAIL -- not hoka SHOE, but another nurse was wearing these and I thought they were cute so I tried them! NO CUSION IN THESE SHOES. Very flat. As a heal dragger these were very comfortable to walk in. Would recommend if you want to try something different an cute. I don't remember getting sore feet in these until I wore them out.

At this point in my life I have been working in healthcare longer than I haven't. And for excerise, I run. I run trails, I run treadmills, I run hard. And I work hard.
I have included links to these shoes you can find on Amazon. If you purchase through these links I get a small kick back. And with the kick back I get to put the money back to you with more great dialysis nurse RUclips videos.
I'm hard on my feet, and even harder on my shoes.
A wonderful travel nurse friend introduced me to Hoka One One when I was complaining if IT Band and knee pain. That was five years ago, and I have been wearing hoka one one shoes ever since. I want to review these hoka one one shoes to help you decide if these shoes are right for you. I also have one pain ofr Altra shoes....and they are great too.

Just to ask other than a good pair of shoes, what other items do nurses ensure they have to help them with any leg or feet issues? Good pair of compression socks? Insoles?

#1 For me are shoes! I also sit when I can and try my best to use good posture. Especially when leaving. I also use the mechanical lift instead of lifting patients.
