    I find this channel extremely relaxing. As a person who suffers from generalised anxiety disorder, agoraphopia, depression and insomnia, I find your voice and mannerisms soothing to listen to, and the logical steps required to think out and solve the puzzles takes my mind away from the irrational thoughts I have when the anxiety/panic attacks happen. It is amazing the unlikely places you can find that make life that little bit easier for folk with these kind of conditions, so long as you keep searching and don't give up. Thank you Mr. Puzzle- keep doing what you do.

    • @Mr.Puzzle
      @Mr.Puzzle  7 лет назад +17

      Thanks Stefan. When I started this channel my intention was just to show the solution for some puzzles. I am very happy about the positive feedback and even more happy that some people seem to really really enjoy these videos.
      There will be more for sure! More details after the 100.000 milestone.

      have you ever tried to watch ASMR?

    • @Dzeroed
      @Dzeroed 7 лет назад

      Yuri Katz Yeah, gave it a try but didn't think much to it. It's a combination of his calming voice, the puzzle being solved and myself thinking about the next move I would make I enjoy, especially when I get it right! Very chill videos :-)

    • @Dzeroed
      @Dzeroed 7 лет назад

      Mr.Puzzle Did you see my comment about the live stream idea where we could comment and all solve the puzzle together? What do you think, would it work or be worth a try?

    • @Landbeforetime1992
      @Landbeforetime1992 7 лет назад +2

      I suffered with very severe panic attacks for almost two years after a head injury and a series of negative events in my life, to the point at which I could barely function without feeling as though I were dying, so I like to think I understand where you are coming from. Channels like this helped me quite a bit. I'd recommend the Bob Ross channel for a similar effect. Guided meditation also worked well for me, there's an app called "Headspace" that offers a free ten day introduction to meditation that may be worth checking out.
      Things will get better for you, the calm you experience during these videos proves it. Eventually, given time, you'll realize that sense of peace is your mind's natural state of being, and you'll find it easier and easier to conjure that calmness in moments of crisis (I used to panic over completely irrational things like the sun setting, for example).
      Sorry to ramble, but I thought I'd be remiss if I didn't offer some input.

  • @Dzeroed
    @Dzeroed 7 лет назад +37

    Have you thought about doing a live stream Mr. Puzzle? You could get a nice difficult puzzle and we could all try to solve it together in real time, with suggestions to the next move coming from the comments if you get stuck? I believe that would be quite good fun :-)

    If you are having a tough time with this puzzle, this is a small spoiler.
    I'm a math teacher, and it suddenly occurred to me, about 3 hours into solving this, and many collapsed attempts, that the interior negative space is a rhombic dodecahedron. Each of the 12 center plateaus form a face of the interior shape. They should all lock together at the end, so you can create the initial cradle with this shape in mind. It helped me, a lot.

    @Mr.Puzzle : Have you found the other TWO solutions? I have only ever assembled two total solutions. This was the easiest, but there are two other arrangements.
    The second involves a "keystone," one piece will slide in at the end (warning: my plastic version got stuck temporarily, because one of the center parts got stuck inside of an empty space. It took an hour or so to get it out, but I also broke a piece in the process (and it didn't immediately compromise the structure, so that was a double-loss)); and the third (which I have yet to complete) has you slide in three pieces at the end, similar to this one, but at least one of them is NOT an "odd" piece.
